OH CRAP I didn't contribute anything "constructive" to the thread, so here goes again for the 5th time (I think)...

* Join an active sg, play with them in the game
* Participate in forum activities and make friends there, team with them on the game
* Join globals which are active, play with them in the game
* Adjust your play style to be less of a jerk, play with people in the game who appreciate it
* Loosen your restrictive demands for a 4-level spread on team mates, sk or ex to team with others
* Try one of those FIRST and resort to the 'lft under the statue doin' nothing but whining there's no teams' when it doesn't work

Besides, how can we tell if he's ignoring anyone? i'm sure his ignore list is doubling by the hour, and it's not like there's a "View list of people this poster is ignoring" button.

Also, why would we care even if he is? The sheer arrogance and dismissiveness with which he responds to anyone who disagrees with him is a rich vein to mine for comedy. The fact that he is so obviously lacking in the ability to see or understand anything from outside his narrow perspective continually provides fresh material.

Oh, could someone be a dear and list the forums gods for me? i have absolutely no idea who they're supposed to be, and the closest i generally come to worshipping gods is to gently mock and tease them. Usually i just make fun of them. Come to think of it, King Ares (the poster formerly known as ArestheInhaler) has a god's name doesn't he? i guess i just need to know the names of the rest of the pantheon.

That's the most bizarre and pointless suggestion i've seen in a while. i mean i could do that, but then i'd just go to the hospital, base or log out the character and nothing will have changed. Setting aside the question of whether that constitutes intelligent advice, it certainly seems a bit "odd." (At the very least.) It kind of reminds me of a schizophrenic i knew who was convinced he was some sort of vampire lord in real life. He'd latched onto random bits of the White Wolf game mixed with movies or books and was occasionally harassing a friend of mine because he was convinced she was the queen to his vampire king. He eventually went away, but like most schizophrenics he was completely incapable of considering anything outside his vision of reality.
