would also destroy the idea that you should be able to lvl from 1-50 via MA alone if you like.

What the hell is up with all these suggestions to destroy the MA just after it being released not even a solid week yet?

Are people high or something?

There's just something so right about being in Atlas and seeing, in broadcast, "Level 50 [AT here] looking for team!" It balances out the PI broadcast.

The only reasoning I can see for this is that Atlas and Mercy AE Buildings are too crowded. But... it's not like removing them will make the crowds suddenly disappear. They'll just move somewhere ELSE. Which really isn't fixing the problem at all.

Besides, having an AE in the starting zones makes it a lot easier for the people who want to level from 1-50 entirely on MA missions.

And I haven't noticed any zone-wide lag due to the crowds. Maybe when you're in the building itself, but... yeah. See above.

I've seen some when heading to the building, worse than visiting the Talos Wentworth's right after a Hamidon raid.

How about, instead of removing the buildings, making them a different zone?

Not really. My MA only SG plays from 1-50 in Steel Canyon. Picked the zone because it has the full assortment of facilities, Vault, University, Market, Tailor. Getting around is not difficult even at level 1.

Even so, I'm not in favor of removing buildings from zones unless they're markedly inappropriate (like Sharkhead). Mercy works because of the fortress and the high town, and Atlas works because it's the heart of the city.

Regarding lag, MA is still a very new, less than two weeks old, feature. It's too early to know if MA use in Atlas and Mercy will stay at the same levels, go down, or go up. Let's see what 'normal' looks like before yanking any buildings.

Look, there's no WW in IP. There doesn't need to be an AE in Atlas Park. Let the one in Galaxy City carry the full load.

I avoid the AE lag the same way I avoid the WW lag.

Use the one in Kings Row.

Edit: I once started a thread asking which zone sucked worse(because of the broadcast crap), and that was my favorite answer.

Personally I like the new buildings...they lend to the feeling that the city is constantly growing and changing.

As for lowbie arcs, Bill, let me shamelessly plug my arc 55669, "Tales of the PPD: One Hell of a Deal", designed for levels 1-5. Doesn't get much lower than that. I have a few more specifically low-level arcs in the works, hero and villain, which I'll rotate out until I can free up the MA slots.

I've been browsing the forums, and scanning the published arcs, to find arcs in the 1-15 range. I've found a few (58363; Nuclear 90, 68054; Out of the gutters, 4197; Identity Crisis) ranging from Heroic to Villainous to Neutral. And I've kept the numbers and names for personal re-play. These three are the best ones I've found, and am just going to plug them there. It is a PAIN to find low level arcs, because people who are posting their arcs, aren't putting the levels it's intended for (or can naturally be played in), which makes it hard to find enjoyable content (at least for me).

A lot of people gravitate towards the most powerful/challenging/sexy enemies, and MA naturally serves as a wellspring of L50 content, so overall arcs are going to be top-heavy, at least at first. I think it's important to tell worthwhile stories at all levels and not focus solely on the save-the-universe level stuff.

If you don't like the AE in one zone, go somewhere else. Heroes have 2 noob zones, villains only have the one. But you can go to Galaxy City, Kings Row or Port Oakes just as easily.

FYI I have not even logged on a Hero since I14, but at the most Port Oakes I have seen 4 people in AE And of those 4 only 1 other person uses Studio B.
