HERO con attendees are still getting a pass in beta? I thought that was only for i13- but I could be wrong?

IIRC, it was for I-13 and I-14. No mention was made of I-15.

So...have the Developers explained how we are supposed to reach the various contacts?

If I plan an adventure with Crimson as a contact with missions in Talos, Kings Row and Peregrine Island, villains cannot access those zones.

Are we going to have to set two contacts and mission doors on both sides of the game?

Ok, so they started closed beta on friday the 13th, and i have a feeling itll be released friday the 13th of march!
I hope i get in, never have been in sine i6 :/.

I know a couple things I would like to see happen in I-14

1. make all email by global name instead of individual toon names perhaps this will lower if not stop the spam emails

2. I would like to see Fire Base Zulu become a Co-Op zone, I think this would be a fun place to team together and Co-Op may just bring this zone back to life.

3. Co-Op missions writable for the Mission Architect

4. I would love to see at least one new villain zone, alot of people have begged for this and I for one would love to see it happen.

5. I would like to see us given a more practical and easy way to create elaborate bases WITHOUT using a million desks as our floor, because of this need of desks many base builder can not finish their bases do to lack of space and the apx. 10,000 item limit in which a base crashes from. We all know there can be a better system in place for bases, it's just a matter of allowing us to have "said method"

I hope somewhere between I-14 and I-15 at least one of these happens and if they all do well. . . .

It's what I get for telling people to stop crying doom about Stalker Elec Melee back when I was in i12 beta...

I know it was an overstepping of bounds, but I still feel the action was justified.

I don't see how this would work, since one of the supposed techniques spammers use is thought to be going into open, popular global rooms and getting people's global names for spamming.. I don't see how this would stop them or even slow them down?

As cool and often requested as this idea is, do you think it would really be in I14? They'd have to add new content to make this worth even doing. Even if they didn't, shouldn't something this big be the focus of it's own issue? Maybe they could even take the time to tweak the zone, if they DO decide to go this route. It also would beg the question of, do you keep the current task forces, redo them, or just get rid of them totally?

I'd also mention it's a 'bit' too just 'tack on' to an almost unrelated feature!

Me too, but hoping it's going to be in issue 14 is kind of like expecting power customization to hit in I14.. not terribly likely

As nice as that'd be, I think it depends heavily on if they gave up on improving bases already.. I have a feeling such a big change as this might not be something they can fit into I14, especially if they want I15 to come soon!

Be nice if the Devs gave us a bit of extra i14 info, new IOs? new bugs being fixed? At least something to tide us over until open (or until you get in closed) beta. Even acknowledging the existance of said new IOs or said bug fixes would be good.

One thing I would like to see in i14 Architect is the option to make missions purely for fun and therefore with less (if any at all) restrictions. Perhaps call it a 'fun'/'training' mode.

As a downside there would be no rewards of any kind from playing, but you would be permitted to add as many AV's, GM's, special or otherwise restricted content as technically possible.

Just for fun I'd love to be able to test my skills against a string of AV's, or get a super team togther to try to take down a team of AV's

btw - i was in the very early closed survey a few months ago. Hope my feedback was helpful.

Info would be nice, but I understand their wanting to keep it close for the moment.

As far as Power Changes, Base Changes, New IO's, etc... I kinda doubt we will see much of that this Issue. We can always hope, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I15 seems to be a very big deal to old Posi, though. No telling what we are likely to see when that hits.

Well, beta servers are closed to the general public. Once you get to that point, you've pretty much admitted the new issue testing has begun, anyway.

I'm betting the logic here is to do a preemptive official thread on it and have one spot for it, rather than risk the page being filled up with separate threads on it by separate people.

Short version, they're doing it so we don't have to.. heh

For me, it will depend on the storyline being developed. There are instances where it could be logical progression to do so. However, zone-hopping because of randomization doesn't make a lot of sense to me either.

Personally, *if* we are given that level of control, most of my stories will not be zone-hopping.

No one's gonna have to worry about my planned arcs sending people all over the zones, except maybe one. Other than that, I plan for all my missions to take place OUTSIDE of Paragon City. Thank you, Independence Port submarine and Vanguard helicopter.

Hero Con attendees will be getting into Issue 14's Beta "Soon"...fuzzy date is that by this time next week Hero Con attendees (+ some additional folks) will be in the Closed Beta. It may be sooner, but within a week.

That's as close of an update that I'm allowed to give right now.
