Um sure. I LOVE THE IDEA. Love that your implementing it. I am an avid comic reader. However, I wish you could give us the option one or the other (or for those with awesome pc's both). When you get 2 groups fighting a GM or worse yet, groups of MM's fighting Rikti, you already cant see anything. This just makes it worse. Still, LOVE the idea and please add it, just wish I had the choice before beginning play (or change in settings).

I know it was a joke, but really not a bad idea (except the no sound thing). How about on a critical hit, instead of critical a sound effect word comes up? That would be cool.

You send them a digital picture and description of what you want written and the font. You pay for the shirt and the fee for them screen printing the image on. Another website you can use is Yque.com
Not bad... not bad at all.
I just wished they would have asking Miller how he felt about this change to the game.. so he could have responded, "To be honest, I was so happy, I nerfed regen again!"
Or accuracy, or global defense..

I.... um.... er.... kinda.... really want this.... like really... can we get this? It would be really cool.... maybe even customize it. I mean, like every power has a font or whatever and we pick our own "FWOSH" or "FWAP!".....

You have the option of being taken in or not taken in by an April Fool's joke.
I knew this wasn't an actual feature, but I would sort of like to see it added as an option. Keep it turned off by default with a few different options (self only, self + pets, teammates, etc.) and don't have it actually replace sound when turned on, but it could be fun at times to use, particularly for screenshots or player made videos with a music background.
Obviously not as part of Issue 12 if the entire thing was faked, but in one of the upcoming issues I think it'd make a nice feature.

I think this will be a cool feature, but I do hope not all the sound effects will be removed. Because there is alot of effects I do like...
Okay I just have to complain here. Of course, haven't read, but this better be an April fool's joke cause this isn't funny. No sound AT ALL??? If it's for people who build their comps, how hard is it to spend another 50-60 bucks to buy a sound system? My opinion, long time player now, this will ruin the game. I prefer to actually hear my Full Auto and sniper fire instead of seeing it. If you go no sound then might as well just play a different game. That's all I have to say.

You know, the only way that I could go for this, if it were real, would be if you got Walt Simonson to do them. For those who have never had the pleasure of reading Simonson's comics, he is somewhat of a master of the visual sound effect. He can have a guy hit something so hard that the sound effect is "KRAKKAFADOOOOOOM!" That's four syllables of hard hit right there. Nobody does sounds like Simonson.

At first i was infuriated. My brother and I were complaining about this all day. At one point I even said, "This may be what makes me quit playing COH altogether!"
