omg ! thank god its april fools day. i wouldnt mind the words in the game as long as you can enable or disable them. but to replace the sounds with words is lame !!! sound is a huge part of gaming. it would make the game sooo cheesy ! i love the sounds our powers make. i really hope this is a joke, seems like it is...

I *REALLY* (seriously) want this too - even if it would be just a toggle setting.

Just imagine, if you will, running into a 5th Column base as a tanker with a blaster sidekick, you look over at a group of soldiers, taunt them and large "!"'s appear over their heads as you run around a corner, then they run over towards you with little "rustle" "patter" "squeak" visual sounds at their feet and turn the corner right into a blaster's trap - "FAZOOOSH," nova'd! Oh the joy that would bring me.

Darn you devs, not only is this an absolute rejection of one of my dreams for the City of series, but mud in the face and a kick in the groin of it too!

The problem is "as all the sounds in the game are being removed to make room on the players hard drives for the new Visual Sound graphics." I like my machineguns, claws, weapons, fireblasts sounds. I do like tue grapic sounds, but if u take away all the sounds the gameplay will become quite stupid just because "music map + visual sounds" is way too boring.
And sorry i think this idea of "taking all the sounds" was "we wont give any choice to the player, HE WILL HAVE TO USE IT" sorry guys if the Devs remove all the sounds i wont play the game, its too stupid even for human normal levels of stupidity.
