I know the feeling, I hate runners with a passion. I usually only PeePeePee when I can get an easy fight of some sort, since heroes only play when they can win in PvP zones.

Took a few seconds for me to realize it was an April Fools joke. My initial thought was "Great, they're going towards the super-cartoony-look that CO has." Actually figured it out before I even finished the 1st paragraph. I glanced down, saw "FREEM" and went "that's to dumb to be rea.... oh, duh!"

However, I've been texting a few of my SG members and at least one of them thought it was real so far...

Wow this is utter crap. I think it's neat to add the visual sounds, but to remove the current sounds completely to make ROOM on our hard drives? Give me a freaking break! If you were making it an option either way that'd be one thing, but FORCING us to do this new stuff... that's just crap. I happen to like the sound of my MA attacks and Fire bombs on my tank. I may just quit the game over this, because your basically gimping the game just for people who have GIMP computers.

Oh god it is april fools isn't it. I feel like a dunse....

I am so glad I remembered today was the first, otherwise I'd really feel like an idiot, but I agree that it would make a nifty add-on.

Okay - now I have to troll this post for a list of all available 'visual sound effects' and put them all in my I-12 trailer. Unless someone would like to start a thread of what all the visual sound effects should be (and FREEM! is at the top of the list)...
