Umm I was talking with a friend, and he mentioned that Nexon and Perfect World are in some kind of partnership to help spread PW games. Is there any truth to this? (I am wondering because well PW owning Cryptic Studios and all((of course I might be the late comer to this story)))

Or you can try getting a few fellow gamers and make an all green team. A team of all empath (defenders or trollers), is a game breaker.

I like the idea of fire, freezing rain and rain of fire, freezing helps to keep them there while rain of fire roasts them.

Well, the most fun thing I have done on this game and still do, is with my MA/Fire tank Daddy Zoot, and waiting until a mob (normally a minion) gets low on health and ignoring my attack chain and just kicking said mob, so it flies across the screen and is dead hitting the ground. That and my wife trying to clay pigeon mobs with my tank and her energy/energy blaster.

Most awesome..before IOs my first level 50 blaster, a fire/energy named Arthur Brown (I am the god of hell fire!) Hitting fifty and then dying all in the same moment. Yes! No it isn't soloing a GM or AV, just some CoT Demons. Heh, but I thought it was awesome.

I have to stop and wonder, whips aren't really a weapon, yet shoving my hand at someone and shooting energy at people is considered a viable attack in this game. Man, what are people thinking.

Well I have a plant/storm at about 8 just solo playing, the fire seems to destroy things faster but again it burns through the endurance. The plant seems to be safer (even though I haven't gotten SoC yet) I think it is because fire makes you a little more agressive with hot feet so more melee damage comes at ya.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Having read a few controller stories here, it caused my altitis to flare up, I have an urge to build either a plant/storm or a fire/storm. I am curious as to how the various sets play together. ie fire/storm is a damage dealing monster but drinks end. like an M1 tank (5 gallons to the mile). Also I am curious does most damage dealing powers in storm (ie does containment double damage for powers like freezing rain, tornado etc.)

I appreciate any info and tips. I have started up a fire/storm (redside) and am fixing to start up a plant/storm (blue side)

Well, I play a lot of tanks, and maybe I am old school holy trio player (and no I take everyone on a team because to me this is a game and fun is fun) However on knock back I have one request..let me know when you are going to do something cool so I can see it. :P I miss out on a lot being face to face, knee, bellybutton (hey I make short tanks). As for losing agro? My tanks don't. Period. You knock em away they come running back to me.

One of the things I have discovered at the lower levels, is I can save a meleer's bacon with it many times I have jumped in while a tank is red lining and the confusion it brings will pull the heat off of 'em letting them recover.

my Mind/energy's pets are never useless...don't believe me "look into my eyes repeat after me, pets are useful at level 50, they are better than Cats, I will use them again and again and again"

A ranged scrapper with armor..reminds me of the several claws/xxx builds where they would only take ranged claws attacks (outside of the ones you have to take) and the ranged attacks from epic pools.

I know the OP has chosen but I have to give a shout out for fire manipulation, yeah yeah I know, but as one person has stated your forced choice power ain't shabby, there is build up, and hot feet can be used quite effectively as a defensive toggle, it forces most of the mobs to flee and then take pot shots at you. Plus the lack of choices is (IMHO) a good thing, because it allows you to take a few of the power pool powers alot of range players like to take (ie. medicine), and it makes building a layered defense easier as well.

A buddy of mine told me, why don't you make a petless demon summoning/force fielder, if I wanted to make a primary power pool build. *twitchs*
