Did you ever get a chance to be on a team like that? It sounds epic.
On my server, we run all Kheldian TF's every Friday night. We've done successful ITF's, LGTF's, Apex, Tin Mage, Sutters, and a bunch of ancient low level TF's that take way too long for little to no reward. We're doing an all Kheld LAMBDA soon, so that should be fun.

I'm guessing you guys change forms as needed throughout the runs? Or have you already established responsibitlies within the group. Kheldians have so many options it's tricky to imagine what that'd be like!
I'm guessing uber damage, but is there an element of control/buff if need be? Or do you even need that?
I'd totally like to try that!

It was a similar make up to yours in that there was a good variety in powers but each on worked so well in the team.
Nice array of buffs/debuffs and damage. You have controls when the missions call for it and that Tank in case the AV needs to 'behave'.

Nice!

Not really. Both of my Khelds are human form only. It's all of our responsibility to 'kill everything as quickly as possible' and to have as much fun doing so as we possibly can. It usually goes well.

Edit: You can read about our past exploits in this thread.
I ran weekly All Controller TFs for quite a while on Guardian. We've even run a few All Controller BAFs which are lots of fun. I've also hosted other All 'X' type events. One of the most fun was All Storm TFs. Seeing a column of lightning storms is impressive.

I've been on an all-Storm ITF before. It was slower than a normal run and not quite as smooth, but we were all having so much fun tossing Romans all over the map that no one cared.
I know several SGs have run all-Defender or all-Corruptor superteams that completely trivialize pretty much anything... Repeat Offenders is probably the most well-known SG of that type, though they don't just do all-buff / debuff teams, they do all sorts of them. I think they've also done things like 2-team Hami raids too...
Cascade, level 50 Blaster (NRG/NRG since before it was cool)

First thing that I think of when I read that....that's some impressive recruting!
Second thing I think of when I read that....poor escapees....no chance at all!!

I wonder if anyone holds all "corruptor/troller/defender" tf/trial runs on Virtue these days?
I'd like to try many of the above mentioned.

Many many sets of 8 are quite powerful ... just see the variety in the thread.
First "Super Team" I ever heard of many issues ago were the FRADs. 8 Fire/Rads who among other craziness took out the final 4 Patron AV's of the STF in something like 3 minutes, 16 seconds prior to IO's or Incarnate powers (by several issues). That's over 120,000 hit points from 4 +4 AV's obliterated in under 200 seconds. Technically that particular feat was with only 7 Fire/Rads the 8th being an impartial Time Force II Judge witnessing the carnage.
I've leveled several Empaths with Green Machine the all Empath/* sg of the RO Network. 8 high level GM's pretty much destroy anything in their path. AV's can be problematic if no Envenomed Daggers, /Sonic, Reactives or Pets are involved owing to the utter lack of -resist or -regen in the Empathy primary.
The RO Network has done both the ITF and STF with all "Confusion" teams. And many other all DefCon (as well as Redside versions) teams are commonly run doing all sorts of content under all sorts of makeups and settings. Often these teams are very potent though entirely randomly put together for 'whatever'. One of the strongest such teams I was on one night several years back now, pretty much walked all over a Master of the STF (and probably would have walked all over pretty much anything in this game). I've never seen so many hard capped and or blue numbers in my combat attributes before or since.
Leveled an Earth/Storm to 50 with Element Earth on Justice ... an all Earth/* sg super team. Pretty much wiped things from level 1 onward ... lots of Hellions and Skulls in Perez, for example, got slaughtered by massed Stone Cages and Gale (with cheap Explosive Strike procs slotted ) And later was pure fun to watch +4 foes get hammered. One moment there's a boss, a cloud of Earth gfx, then 6+ Rockies surrounding the area where a boss was.
With friends (up to 6 of us at times) leveled a team of AR/Dev blasters. Some crazy fun with silly amounts of trip mines and caltrops over which to blast away at foes.
And perhaps the strongest grouping we friends did was a super group of all Dark/Something or Something/Dark characters. A Dark Melee/Willpower scrapper buffed by both Cold and Sonic Shields makes a very sturdy "tank" who can be knife edge for the team who can debuff (Tar Patch, Sleet, Benumb, Sonic Siphon, Sonic Disruption etc.) +4 foes to some sort of jelly to be ripped apart by the team, who are also seriously hard to hit or hurt even if the aggro is lost by the scrapper (hello Darkest Night, Cold Shields, Fearsome Stare, Sonic Shields, etc. etc..) Can only imagine what adding a couple more to the team (such as the now available Blaster dark sets) and bringing it to a full 8 would do.

And...I think I'll add my own- an all spines/dark scrapper team- unless there is high negative energy resistance about- things will die just from the team standing there, not to mention the hordes of AOE's that could fly around.
A team of 8 beam rifle/ corruptors.
So many letters the damage looks like algebraic equations.
8 Stalkers is working pretty well for us over on Exalted. Lotta AS's and Crits, and we ain't even 25 yet.

Thugs/Traps with Lore pets is the obvious answer. Make sure everyone is using Gang War and german shepherd pets. And Shivans and HVAS and backup radio for AVs.
Some friends and I actually did all-MM ITF and LRSF. We weren't all Thug/Traps (which is good because we needed a few rezzes in LRSF) but it was still very laggy and reasonably smooth. That was before incarnate stuff too.
Dispari has more than enough credability, and certainly doesn't need to borrow any from you.

I don't remember losing any HP, I know for a fact we had 0 Deaths. We all had TT:M and Power Pool Maneuvers, Then think about 8 Venom Grenades with 8 Suvallences and 16 Spiders running around, almost felt like we were cheating. It was fun to hear those guns going off though.
I have ran an all Scrapper Apex and other various super 8's for fun, but I will say by far not much comes close.
Well there was that 8 Man Mind/Permadom team we ran a LRSF got to say that was the easiest too. Wasn't too much fun though.
I would love to see an 8 Fire/Rad Controller team.

Well, TopDoc and others had run Super Teams for years.
We had the Frads, Khelds, and Veats.
With RO there was the Brain Damage for all Psy types.
I was with Elememt Earth for that one.
Tribal had many many ST's. The evil Frads, evil Elements, and Brutal Speed.
Then there were all kinds of theme ST's run by the Justice Superteamers and the Soul Socitiy on Triumph.
So this is not new by any means.
And wow I almost forgot my 1st one on Liberty. It was just all Rads trollers and defenders cause thats all we had at the time. What a sight rads were then in I4.
Alts on all servers, lvl 50 of every AT:
lvl 50 Heroes on all servers but; Pinnacle, Victory
lvl 50 Villains on all servers but; Guardian, Pinnacle, Triumph, Victory
Current Projects: Tanks
Official MOM of Tribal Alliance
2 Time/Fire Defenders.
1 Sonic/Fire Defender
1 Fire/Fire Tank.
4 Fire/Fire Blasters.
Soft-capped defenses to everything for the whole team from the Time Manipulators, plus some regen debuffs for hard targets and Chrono Shift.
Mez protection for the squishies from the Sonic Defender, plus the ring of doom placed on the tank.
Tank has good AoE and will be indestructible from all the buffs. Will be softcapped, and probably resistance capped to several types (S/L/F for sure)
And I think the 4 Fire/Fire blasters speaks for itself.
Let the charred remains of anything standing in your way pile up.

Have you ever heard someone say theyve been on anall controller team or an all scrapper team or even an all sonic team?
Ive have never actually been on one of these types of teams but I was always intrigued by the idea.
What if you could gather 8 people and come to a common theme for a SUPER TEAM!
Theres probably a million different combinations out there that would satisfy this (a tribute to the balance of the game) so Im curious as to what you guys would build. Post a roster with a little blurb as to why.
I guess the scenario would be something like a team built for the following trials/task forces:
LGTF
STF
ITF
BAF Trial
LAMBDA Trial
Keyes Trial
UG Trial
Tin Mage
Apex
So ya all of these are playable at level 50. If you wanted to add more tfs and trials to support your idea by all means.
I could go a million ways with this but Ill post this little combo of eight. Well call this the all buff/debuff team.
1. Brute (SS/Shield) AOE dmg to carry through the tf/trial and ST dmg for the AV and taunt
2. Corruptor (Fire/Ice) defence buff, big AOE with End recovery and non-target debuff
3. Corruptor (Fire/Ice) defence buff, big AOE with End recovery and non-target debuff
4. Corruptor (Fire/Rad) non-target heals, AM and debuff with big AOE
5. Corruptor (Fire/Rad) non-target heals, AM and debuff with big AOE
6. Controller (Fire/Kin) holds, stuns, speed, dmg buff, mez protection
7. Controller (Fire/Kin) holds, stuns, speed, dmg buff, mez protection
8. Corruptor (Fire/Fire) non-targeted heals, resistance buff, and nice debuff
Pretty much a steam roll team, the brute is basically there to assist in AV battles (and with all those buffs hed be near un-killable). The buffs/debuffs would be pretty impressive as a whole. I suspect single target enemies would not last long at all.
I added non-targeted heals to the team for stuff like Keyes and I also imagine the support toons would have the Leadership Pool running.
Now its your turn!
