Mine were on guardian. Still there too.
Still have friends there but zero pvp + low pop = eh, unfortunately. my big thing is villains now and well, no one plays villains there.

I have an unbirthday party to attend shortly, but I just wanted to add this.
With the overhwelmingly negative responses from the other servers, why would we want to go there in the first place?
I think the only server thus far to not collectively jump on the "hate freedom" bandwagon is Champion. My hat's off to you guys.

I still think a number of good solutions have been offered up. I think a 72 hour token of 2x exp gameplay that can be used on your account, or for your characters still is the ideal way to do this. Skip out on the weekend madnesss? No biggie, do it when you want to. I would love to solo some of my guys on my time getting 2x exp and not having to deal with the flood of tells asking if I want to team all the time. I prefer to not use /hide unless I'm in those godforsaken "mentor" levels.

Freedom and Virtue go red or gray every 2X xp weekend, but nobody wants to move there characters so it keeps happening. It's that simple. So stay there and keep bitchin and not-playing.

I already have a server full there too, and I got two levels on my Kat/sr. 
That might be the way to go.
BTW: Ghost Falcon's response is utterly ridiculous. The solution people will have is they will stay in game and never log, thus preventing others from logging in.
Why they didn't see this coming, I don't know. They really do not know their own game.

It doesn't piss me off. It pleases the hell out of me. I enjoy leveling much faster; moving along toons that had been stuck for a while. I love being able to get on a good team very easily, and I enjoy being asked to join a good team while I'm already on a good team (that just makes me giggle). I enjoy seeing people who had left due to real life getting in the way, or to check out other MMOs ( I like to ask them "What news do you bring from the outside world?").
The only thing I don't like about double XP weekend is that I so often miss a good chunk of it due to work.
And it is also important to note that while a few people on the boards have a lot of negative things to say, they are a minority of the forum community which is itself a minority if the game playing community.

Honestly, I think the same thing.
Edit: I'd rather it be a temp power that you could trigger whenever. Make it an "awarded only to active accounts on this day" and let people use it when they want.

This is a "damned if they do, damned if they don't" situation. People begged and pleaded for ages for server transfers. They wanted to transfer off of what they viewed as "dead" servers to the populated one(s): Freedom and Virtue. Now comes an event that draws more people logging in for longer periods than normal by far, and they've not only exceeded the old server capacities but they've hit the NEW server capacities.
If they'd put in the transfer but locked even just Freedom from accepting transfers, people would have screamed just as much as they're screaming now that they've overloaded it.

The only people it pisses off are people from Freedom. Be careful when you say "everyone". I've had a great 2X xp weekend so far.
