TK self-teleportation glitch please (for the... 80th time?).
My big "they really need to fix that" right now is confuse being on its own suppression cycle. It breaks the pattern of all other mez effects and is just plain illogicaal.
Broadsword's knockback not suppressing is a long-standing bug that's become more prominent post i12.
The "map not available" for the seige tower arena map was also forgotten.
There are a few more that I'm just not thinking of at the moment.

Yeah, I've been plastering that bug all over the forums for quite some time now too. No response... yet.

It's not just Broadsword. Several other powersets either entirely or in several powers, have issues like this -- not least of which is Storm.

I hate that >.o
But seriously, it'd be nice to get some legit feedback on self-teleportation while TK'd. It's a crippling bug, particularly in duels, and exploitation of it is probably one of the main reasons the power is still worth taking. Vengeance stacking received feedback in the form of (paraphrasing) "It's part of how the power works and we can't really fix it in the near future"... I'd like to know if there's some form of hope for the TK issue.
I have yet to test whether making a macro to do "/sync" will fix the display issue, but that shouldn't be a hoop players need to jump through. Hell, I'm still hesitant to duel players who make liberal use of TK, since Jaunt Initializer is one of the only defenses against it in dueling scenarios -- and that defense would work properly if not for the graphic glitch. As it stands now, anyone who benefits from their TK'd target trying to teleport and getting graphic bugged, is effectively making use of an exploit, whether by intent or not.
So when's this thing getting scrapped?

Last issue.
Duel me.
I will work on my sig pic more when I have time.
Can this thread be unsticked and deleted - it obviously was never read.
Aww, I wanted Putz to just change the finished copies to a bunch of code middle fingers to reflect the new wishlist.
It's cute to see how optimistic we were back then

[/ QUOTE ]I refuse to be optimistic about anything the devs say they'd like to read. Ever since Mistakeman's mistakes and blunders, I've always been jaded and cynical. I won't be optimistic because why risk getting my hopes up? I'd rather just say they'd screw it up and be jaded, and if they don't screw it up, I'll be surprised in a pleasant manner.

What you are not getting, is that he did not mess with PvP. If he did, I'm not sure he could have screwed it up worse. So to get on topic, my Wishlist is simple.
Revert I13
I can't believe this list is still up and stickied. It's just serves as evidence and a reminder that the PvP'rs actually knew what should've been done in order to improve PvP in this game. Instead we had it destroyed by the arrogance of those in power that had convinced themselves that they knew what was best for PvP. Oh well, so much for rational alternatives, explanations of why the devs's ideas were bad, and the thorough testing which proved those explanations to be accurate, huh? Too bad the logical alternatives were never considered and that the PvP population continues to be a shell of its previous self, further proving what the majority of us said all along. CoH PvP, RIP. gg devs

lol Revert I13...uhm No...there is nothing wrong with PvP. That's why every night in RV I see a huge number of villains in RV. I only wish most of them had more talent; some do, but most do not.

Yawn...I've seen more players in pvp zones now than I ever did before I-13 pvp. Methinks you are being a bit over-dramatically royal.
I don't know what your experience is, but mine is from PvPing since it was introduced into this game. I can tell you without any doubt or exaggeration that zone PvP, arena PvP, base raid PvP, and Test ladder PvP is nothing compared to what it was when I played regularly, regarding both population and fun. I stuck around for a long enough time in i13 to see what happened to zone PvP, btw.
As a matter of fact, I spent a great deal of my time in this game trying to increase PvP interest, partly because I loved organized PvP events and partly because those of us that PvP'd knew exactly what needed to be worked on in order to make PvP more accessible to those that didn't...and we believed that the devs would be more likely to make the necessary fixes and improvements if we could successfully increase the PvP population.
The changes that i13 brought did not achieve what the devs were claiming to set out to do. My point in the previous post is that those of us involved and interested in PvP from the beginning could see the coming problems, offered good suggestions, and were largely ignored.
If you think the zones are active now, you apparently were MIA when the zones actually were very active. I feel bad for you and those like you, because you apparently missed out on something that was a lot more enjoyable than what you see today.
After reading through the i13 changes, and seeing that the developers of CoH have continued to hurt PvP more and more, Im not sure why I am downloading CoH once again.
When I5 hit and they brought in ED I almost emo rage quit, but instead I didnt. I thought, "No the devs will see the error in their ways." I waited 6 more issues and they have only continued to hurt PvP, instead of addressing the issues that truely afflicted PvP.
We then formed the PvPEC, thinking if only we show them the interest there is in PvP they will begin to listen, and again they did not care.
The devs have yet to care about the PvP community. One day perhaps a lead developer will come to the City of franchise and rescue her, but until then it is clear that PvP is of no priority. Playing dress up at the tailor in CoH is and always has taken priority. Fix the bugs, listen to the people that play this game.

I know somewhere small NCSOFT can start:
Adjust Superior Invisibility so it actually gives the +1000ft bonus it says it should give to the controller. WTF. It should be better than hide if going by the power's description. I think illusion trollers deserve it.
ummm......GG

Uhm....what?
I just reread this for giggles, and it has so many good ideas i just don't see how castle just didn't use this as a map to redo pvp. Damn castle you dropped the ball on this one.
The funny thing is, even though you seem like one of the whiners that got the changes made in the first place, you're probably still bad..------Macskull on Crop_of_shaolin

I'd recommend doing a compiled HTML save of this thread, re-doing the main list (sans votes, fixed stuff) , and posting that.
[/ QUOTE ]
A save would be good, but let's use the unaddressed items from the old list as a starting point to work out a new one. The ideal time to start this would be after early open beta testing gives a more complete picture of i13.
I'm sure people will have feedback on the sweeping power changes Castle mentioned *cough*. There's also hope that PVP will somehow figure into the merit system, bringing progress on the rewards item.
And zone refinements.. Pocket D is a zone, right? And the Arenas are in zones too, right? So selectable Arena maps would qualify... right?
