Exactly my thoughts. We know that we can have defensive powers with no power fx since Tough and Weave both have zero power fx. So devs., time to step up and either deliver on the no fx powerset we want or give us an option in the costume creator to turn power auras on/off. No excuses.

I definitly think they should incorperate some of that combo action with toons who use martial arts instead of weapons.

Maybe make some kind of customization for fists beyond what they already can do.

Simply can not see any of the videos from the official CoH site, the only website to have that problem.

Technically, that means we'll get it before the winter solstice (December 22nd this year). I was hoping more along the lines of mid-November myself

As to the video, looks good! Lookin' forward to it.

If i had seen this i wouldnt have spent the last hour downloading and trying to compress a youtube video myself

I have to admit for Willpower what I'd like to see is a video of somebody just standing there for a 10 or 20 second period with all the effects going. Whenever they showed shots of the powerset it seemed like they were activating it or it was pulsing. I want to see what the long term look of it is. Not very dramatic I'll admit, but it would be more informative to me.

Other then that, it looked like a great video.

Superb job on the video! Explained well enough that even the newest of nooblets could understand the awesomeness of what's to come. Thanks for posting at YouTube. Couldn't open it directly either.

Should work on various file sizes and compression. I live on DSL, and a lot of people have DSL that is nowhere near as fast as cable. I'm not even attempting to download the smallest file size you have up there.

when i put it through WMM it went from 117mb to 58mb, so it should play all right.

We're still a ways away from that. It hasn't gone to Open Beta yet, which would be the step between Closed Beta (where we are now) and going Live.

As a total guess, I would say we might be looking at Late Novemeber/Early December for the roll out of I11 to Live.

Also, keep in mind that the Developers will almost never give a firm date for the release of a new Issue, and any date they do give is something to think of as a something they're aiming for, not a written-in-stone guarantee.

Last year, Issue 8 was release Nov 28, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, FYI.
