Man. I knew the Devs were geeks and nerds through and through, but that rec room looks....

HEY!! Wait'a'minute!

The Devs get freetime!?!

That's just wrong. The Devs aren't ALLOWED freetime till the game is dead!

They're not allowed to go home either, and should just forget family and friends cause they're not allowed visits!

Though they can have never ending beer supplied via the kind of water bottles you attach to a small animal's cage. They are robots and require alcohol to fuel their power cells.

Of course, this will all be gotten rid of if The Jay (as I have said before, I can't call him Sexy Jay, for he has transcended Sexiness, he can only be described as Jay) were to give us bandages for our characters, ranging from small ones such as for the cheek and chin to full head and chest ones like one would see from a burn victim or broken ribs.

What are you?!! A wussy a$$ mommas boy?? That soft handed crap may fly at whatever child labor camp you work at but were I come from we like results!!!

Dev's LISTEN UP!!
The reward for doing a bad job is BEATINGS!!!

The reward for doing a good job is BEATINGS!!!

I11 will be literally delivered dripping in DEV blood & sweat!! They ain't got no more tears cause we mecifully crazy glued their tear ducts closed!!!

BEATINGS!!!!

Beat them all!!!

Good lord that looks nice. No wonder you guys have him designing zones for the world. How long did that take him to make? I made a few, small scenarios for Warhammer 40k a long time ago with my brother and they took a good couple of days to layout, but a whole town *whistle* props to Voss, lol.

Not to sound all gooey, but it's simple things like this thread toward the community/dev interaction that keeps me around.

You just don't see stuff like this anywhere else!

Now back to my regularly scheduled meanieheadlyness.

Dare I try to ask what the deal with the mystery slash command /sgstats is while we possibly have their attention? or would that just make me a bad person.

Ok, but I can't talk about Issue 11 or beyond... but that's pretty much what you guys WANT me to talk about so we are at an impass.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well actually there is lots you can talk about outside of Issue 11.

I'd love to know what you and the other Devs' favorite aspect of the game is...is it the costume customization, the array of powers, the freedom in slotting, the varied zones, etc?

Know it's hard to take a step back and look sometimes but enquiring minds want to know!

That was pretty cool, Ex. Its nice to see the Devs get playtime when they are good. Perhaps once I11 is announced we can let them continue those games in progress. And as far as Mace:TDA, I forgot about that one. I enjoyed it for a good bit when it was first released. I got pretty damn good with the Executioner. *evil grin*

Side question: What is the devs' opinion of AT-43? I see the box there, I was curious to see how people liked it. It looks interesting, but I'm not sure I'd like it (though I do like Confrontation).

Sure. Your best bet is to grind the poker chip down on the edge of the table till you have a point, its the strongest of those 3 items. You can use the mechanical pencil point to fiddle with the lock in a pinch, but you're probably out of luck with that. On the other hand, you could always just use the heroclix to attack the poker chip, and ignore the handcuffs entirely...

Don't go thinking that your casino rewards card is getting a lot of points playing hours and hours of Pai Gow. PG poker is, I believe, the least effective time/rewards of all casino games because there are so many pushes and the game takes forever to deal a hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

One thing: By American law, there is only one thing that affects your comp rate: The number and amount of bets you make. The casinos are not permitted to take away your comps if you win, lose, or draw on a hand. Nor, in fact, would they really want to. (This said, Harrah's casinos have been engaging in some shady behavior to get around this restriction with particularly 'good winners' lately, but that's another thread)

Now, this doesn't mean that Pai-Gow is any good in terms of table play. Typically, the minimums needed to get comps are higher, and because the number of hands played /is/ the smallest out of any of the carnival games other than Pai-Gow (which is only available in Vegas, typically) you won't be pushing out the number of hands an experienced blackjack player can one-on-one with a dealer. But Pai-Gow is a good game if you want to make your money last and sit at the table a good long time.

Okay, how 'bout this:

Is there a Praetorian version of Lord Recluse, and if so, what's his name?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd bet his name is Captain Fancy-Pants, and he's the Praetorian World's most flamboyantly extroverted television talk-show host.

[/ QUOTE ]
Close. He went by "Mr. Fiddleback" and had a children's television program called "Mr. Fiddleback's Theatre", in which he attempted to provide a simple grounding in basic morals. The show was based around a puppet show performed entirely by Mr. Fiddleback, and had a musical segment in which he played multiple fiddles simultaneously.

Tyrant naturally had the show canceled, and Mr. Fiddleback went into hiding before he could be assassinated. Now he leads a resistance composed principally of fanatical Fiddleback fans.
