You guys wouldn't understand, it's a Virtue thing...

[/ QUOTE ]
No No No! It's purely a Pez thing! The rest of Virtue begrudgingly accepts this behavior because, other than that (and a strange fetishistic obsession with pez dispensers), Pez is an alright guy!

who else brought home the GenCon flu?

[/ QUOTE ]

I did and am currently sharing it with as many people as I can

[/ QUOTE ]

Sharing is caring.

I got it, too. Fighting it off fairly well, but I can still feel it dragging me down.

[/ QUOTE ]

I managed to avoid it, thankfully. I also work with the public, so getting sick would be a Bad Thing (TM).

That said, the ragweed in Indy really messed with my fiancee's and my sinuses.

Heh - Mr Stopheles was there!? Wish I'd have known - would have liked to put a face to that toon! I play Mrs. Stopheles.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you follow the link for Stoph in my sig, you'll see a pic of me. Unfortunately, my avatar on these boards seems to be broken (it's the same pic as the one on LJ, just smaller, since UBB demands 80x80).

Shame I missed you. Meeting up in person would have been a hoot!

Edit: Never mind. Looks like the pic is working again. *head. desk.*

I was about ready to rip my eyes off by the end of the night though, thanks to the rhinestone-y lashes. I'm just glad it was cool enough on Saturday for me to not die from heat exhaustion.

Pics?

Sounds like an interesting getup.

Things I learned at the Hard Rock meet and greet:

1. My definiton of "Hard Rock" is apparantly woefully insufficient, considering some of the things on the monitors there.

2. Virtue, Champion wants those players back. Don't make me get the hose...

3. The brownie sundae is less expensive and noticeably larger than the average sandwich.

4. Herostats runs just fine; your computer is what needs the upgrade

5. ExL cheats at cards

Thanks for making it a fun night, all. Hopefully next year will be bigger and better

to my knowledge I have not spread the plague. I have run too many Vahz mish to participate in such villiany! hehe. It really is neet to have faces to go with the names. I had a long chats with several people, but, alas, the Long Island Tea seems to have effected my temporary data storage routines. It was a good time though, to be amongs heroes. NC soft had a great booth! I must admit, I'm sorely disappointed in what has become of D&D these days. It's more structured than a marching band! I enjoyed playing, because it's been so long, but that's about it. I was suprised to find that I'm not the only one who just can't play a villian on principle! hehe I thought I was just weird(er) than everyone else.

It was such a pleasure to meet you finally! No need to get the hose we will just have to kidnap our Virtue friends and bring them over there
Besides they could never take us away, we know where our home is

Heh...booze always helps! You sure you don't play on pinnacle?

Yeah, Saturday was probably the best day possible to wear costumes out and about.

No flu here, but I have an amazing immunity, it must be one of my super powers. I did however just get my voice back.

I do not cheat at cards as Marut suggested, I think he is merely bitter that I was never a Peon after declaring a revolution on my first hand and going out after getting the "Great Dalmuti." I still wished we could have had a few more games.

The weather held up nicely until the last day, when thunderstorms moved in swiftly. Lets just say when I arrived at the airport I needed a new change of clothing as I was drenched. It just doesn't rain like that out here so I was enjoying the lightning and thunder show.

I had way too much fun for it to be considered work, but since we were on Eastern time and I had to be on the show floor at 9:30 each morning it was a bit of an adjustment, but nighttime I was always raring to go and would often make it back to my hotel between midnight and 3 AM.

The White Wolf party was as usual completely entertaining, and everywhere we turned we seemed to run into "City of" players... which kept us on our best behavior, ok well we tried at least.

I put together a few slide shows of pictures that were taken throughout the event, some are from our dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and the rest appear to be from the show room floor. The one of the big screen is when Bonehead from Pinnacle dinged his first 50.

It was wonderful to meet everyone. I am looking forward to future live events and meeting more of our player base, maybe I will even get down to Austin next month *crosses fingers & toes*.

Enjoy the pictures.

I love the pic that we are holding Cuppa Jo across us. PSF had the most unique pic with that one. Thanks for posting them and again, thanks for ALL that you and all of the NCSoft people did for us.

I must say, there are some mighty beards in those photos. I'm saddened that I could not be among my rugged, manly brethren, having what appeared to be one dandy time.

She was perfectly safe, if not a bit leery, as we told her, "We have two fire fighters with us." And we did, nor did we drop her so all was good in the end.

Where are the shots that Arctic got at Alcatraz?

Do I need to wait for some envelope to show up at home because he caught me with my only beer in my hand?

Sometimes, I impress my boss. Sometimes, I impress myself. The rest of the time, I scare people. I can live with that.

Yeah, I'd love to see Arctic's pix.

That's one of my SG-mates. She has a longtime boyfriend, though, so she's not single.

Meanwhile, yeah, there were a lot of long beards at the Hard Rock. I shaved mine off, but managed to stay out of Ex Libris' sights.
