If we do end up bowling.....I will bring my special bowling ball.....Its clear with a Skull in the center. (same ball that Kid Rock used!!)

i'll more than likley be down at con, but a suggestion when plans get finiliazed make a huge sticky post about when/where its gonna be or soemthing like that so one would not have to sort thru a huge topic like this

I'll be there...as an artist, so I won't have much time to enjoy whatever activities you put up during the con hours. I can sketch, though :P
The meet and greet will not be scheduled during the Con, we are actually looking at Saturday for this event, but we will keep you posted as we know more.

Why don't you just have it as part of the Thursday Block Party; you don't have to worry about age requirements or locals who aren't into gaming since it's only for GenCon attendees, and could easily be arranged with the GenCon staff to have it there with a bunch of tables set aside for such an occasion.
Just a suggestion.

I am so there! I live in Minnesota, but have friends in indy now due to CoH in fact! and am totally coming down for the Con and a party with a bunch of friendlys would just add to the trip, Keep us updated Ex ;-)

It would be kind of nice if you had replica badges to give away...
i live in indy, just south of fountain square. if bowling is an idea you like, then check out the duckpin bowling alley in foutain square. it's on the top floor of building which has a well kept 50's style malt shop on the ground floor. i will go by and get all the numbers to email ya so you can check it out (or not). it's very close to downtown and easy to get back and forth. i'll go where ever the action is, but if you don't like the duckpin idea, then i second IUPUI. if the park thing is where is what ya'll decide on, then there is military park in downtown. it's about 2/3 of the way from the comvention center to IUPUI. be warned though, indy in mid aug is rough weather wise. odds are good it will either be over 80 with high humidity or storming.
p.s. - i also second replica badges. i am a trucker so having a replica trucker badge would rock!!

oh yeah... a little fresh, ice cold cantelope (ok, ok, musk mellon). cubed, splashed with some grey goose and topped with fresh whipped cream.... ignore my earlier comment. indy in august is the place to be!!

Come to Indy in August and find out what REAL PvP is all about...Get to Kick the Devs and Rednames around a bit. Well maybe not them, but If anyone is around the week before, I will be cage fighting near Indy if someone wants to see first hand real PvP 
I fight about 2 times a month for the Extreme Fighting Leauges here in Indiana.
Indy ....the con is awsome wonder how many people are gonna be dressed up in costumes this time i know i am...but other than that the con is awsome . 
i would but i'm not 8 feet tall and i can't bench press a truck either. so i'll just come as me

I'm not a local of Indy, but I am a local of the GENCON experience I will be there. The Brewery is cool if its a night time event remember some of us are Gamers and thats why we go to the con. I will send you additional Info that I get as a judge.

We have us the makings of a swell day. GenCon has a great turn out here and its nice to pick up alot of things at decent prices.
I play clixs and SW miniature game so am busy, in the past, with that. However if you all want to see what hits 50 first an alt or my bowling score gutters away.
I believe if we call ahead they will put them bumpers in the gutter for us
