  1. Rollback I13 changes. Disable Incarnates. Go from there.
  2. Oh I see. Updated the original post with the data chunk.
  3. Enjoying some retro gaming and decided to make a concept build. Looking for fair survivability and as much damage as one could get out of a Claws Scrapper.
My current attack chain is follow up - eviscerate - focus.

Cost is mostly not an issue. Any ideas for improvement?

  4. Kaiserin

    YOUR Dream Team.

No mention of Mags or Lacuna? For shame!
  5. Retro gaming fever has struck and I have popped my little brutish head back in for some 8bit fun. I haven't been around since the tragic day of I13's release, and feel that would put me out of the loop in the build crafting ways.

I am hesitant to trust the stickied build assistance thread, as my incredibly dated post is still linked there and most of the threads linked date back to archaic times. Some recent post hopping has unearthed a few posted builds, and I am intrigued at the number of them that refrain from purchasing Unstoppable. I have seen no explanation as to why an individual would pass up a Godmode, perhaps that is something that could be explained to me?

Here is my current live build. I plunged my funding into the beast pack and see little reason to invest in any of the travel powers as none fit my theme and that bestial run is quite sufficient. I lack Greater Fire Sword since it's DPS was crippled back when a particular developer thought it was a good idea to mess with animation times without adjusting damage output. I also highly dislike the sword graphics.

With all that said, I ask for your advice and guidance.

-raises eyebrow- So disabling that seems to work? No crashing so far.

Any idea as to why it conflicts with the game?

    GTX570 issues.

Dinking around in City of for a bit and I wanted to see what was in my SG bin. Sadly the game freezes up any time I try to enter the base. It also freezes whenever I touch the slider graphics and sometimes when a dialogue box pops up. I haven't gotten much further into the game so I'm not sure what else freezes it.

I read in another thread that this very same card seems to be causing similar issues for other folks, so I'm curious if there's a workaround or a fix for this.

Anyways, stuff the sticky thread told me to post:

  9. I've tried doing searches, and from what I gather the answer is no, but is it possible to make a spawn of multiple, unique AV's? I want certain characters to be placed next to one another (no repeats!), but it seems dreadfully hard to do something I would consider a must for the mission architect.

Currently I'm only playing for free activation week. However, before PvP was gutted, I would say a 10.

    8.
False. To be honest I don't think anything can positively influence the PvP in this game anymore. You can throw around rewards and events all you want, the core of the system is unfun, imbalanced and frustrating. It isn't worth the tears shed.

    9.
    B. PvP League - Teams of X are set to compete with other similar teams throughout a "season" in various PvP events, ending with a playoff bracket.

    10. Additional Comments
I left the game many months back and have no regrets doing so. During this free to play week I attempted to participate in PvP, and was reminded all too quickly of every reason that I left for.

The new system is horrid. It rewards terrible players, punishes the decent ones, further restricts viable builds, and took an already flawed system and made it worse.

    oh oh free week

I tried to PvP again. Some people died but...it wasn't at all fun or interesting.
  12. Interesting contest, although highly dissapointed in the lack of the regular dress up costume contest. Please don't tell me there won't be one this year just because you're having one at Hero con.

Can we have a real Halloween costume contest please?
  13. For all you Gremlin fans Stripe is available.

Also, if anyone has Seth or Set, I want it.
  14. Methinks Doms and Corrs like them (because they actually do something sometimes). I haven't met a Brute or Stalker in ages who had one.
  15. The thought that Brutes may get Focused Accuracy makes me giggle with delight.
  16. Awe man, call Pain Domination 'Sadism'. Do eet.

Having a hard time seeing most of my characters having dayjobs. In particular the 4 foot hellspawn/woodland creature ones.
  17. Doing...whatever he does.

An alternate costume design for my Cold Corruptor. Well, the in-game costume hardly looks like the above picture but...

This should go away with Issue 12. TK's Repel will no longer affect players.

Nice. Now to address Dominate and Mesmerize hitting through everything...

I thought any spine protruding from the head would be a horn...

  22. Horns? Spines!

    Glad you like it.
  23. All I request is that the Psi hole found in all melee defensive sets and relevent buff shields be filled.

As far as PvP is concerned /EM will still be chosen over /psi, unless Boost Range is nerfed.

As for /Psi itself...it seems a bit control heavy, like stepping into control archetype control heavy. I'd tone it down a touch...
