He admitted to hacking the website as well. He says he only changed stars but who knows what other programs he is running. With Cryptic using player feedback to determine future game changes who knows what else he's hacked to or what other personal or financial data he's trying to get access from through Cryptic's site. If he is still around I will be warning my bank about Cryptic's billing site being possibly compromised. What he is doing is not a joke or even remotely funny.

No, it's Malek, Lead Seraphim Crusader. He was a puppet of the TimeStreamer, and for his failure to stop the Inner Seraphim Priest's murder at the hands of Vorador, he was encased as a spirit inside his armor so he would serve them for eternity, becoming a Scion for the Pillars of Nosgoth.
Then Kain killed him in his own Bastion, and ripped off his helmet as a trophy.
So..as much as the Lore cites him for being a Bad-[censored].. he is actually quite a wussy character over-all.

Exactly. The only thing that is 'proven' in these threads is that Shivans are overpowered. Bragging about 'soloing' while using Shivans always reminds me of hunters who bag their game using the latest high tech rifles: my reaction is always "I'll be impressed when you do it with your bare hands."

Well, I certainly hope the Devs look at him as the exception not the rule. I have yet to solo any AVs on any of my ATs even with a Shivan(just EBs). And I didn't do any soloing of AVs before ED either. Thanks for the nerfs min/maxers and thanks for always bringing attention to your "accomplishments" to the devs.

Personally, I'm still waiting for the Final Chapter in the series. I didn't know it was supposed to end at Defiance. I think Eidos got sold to another company or Bought out though, so it might actually have inadvertantly ended there, but it wouldn't've been the problems of the developers.
As for the whole Eidos/Silicon Knights legal fiasco that destroyed Silicon Knights and gave the rights to Eidos, I think they ran pretty well with the plot (Blood OMen 2 wasn't *that* bad), but all and all, mainly because of Soul Reaver 2, I think the series would have made a fantastic book series.
My 40 Bubbler was SK'ed up for a group taking on BattleMaiden on Invincible. When we brought her down I earned 114,XXX experience for the kill. Watching an entire bar fill up was insane. I doubt mine was the highest ever but it was probably pretty close.

This thread only exists because Ultimus obviously is having a lot of fun beating up these AVs. It's not that he's doing it. It's that he's having a blast doing it. I'm wondering what's wrong with that, because there are some real mean, snarky posts that follow his around.
I've duod plenty of AVs. It's nothing like soloing one with temp powers. But even if it was, so what? Soloing one without temp powers and inspirations is apparently impossible. Are we going *yawn* just because he did something that wasn't impossible?
I think we need a "I solo on heroic, here are some screenies" thread for some of these people to hang out.
Actually, it's because one of the dev rules is that soloing an AV is supposed to be IMPOSSIBLE - PERIOD. Not with temps and insps, not without, just flat IMPOSSIBLE. It's one of the surest ways to call the nerfbat down... especially if someone brags about it.
Now, do I agree that Nukes and Shivans are broken PvE? Yep. Broken like Bush's foreign policy. But the problem is they're not broken PvP - where they're DESIGNED FOR. And nerfing them without rebalancing the RSF first is a bad move...since it's Shivanuke or OTT, or FAIL. I have a few ideas on how to fix at least PART of the problem. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I don't know him for jack except that I remember that every time he's posted some of his bragging crap in a forum (I've seen them in 3 different forums), I've posted my own experience that trumps it. *shrug* He's not exactly breaking new ground here with what he says, though he seems to act like he is.
Some folks don't like braggarts. I'm just waiting for him to do something that's actually worthy of requiring a bragging post.

You do realize I've done this so far with Stone Armor/Super Strength (Tanker) and Fire/Fire Brute? Next is probably going to be a Corruptor. If they start nerfing, they may as well do another global nerf cause I can do this with any character.

They won't nerf you, or your powersets. They will be nerfing (again?) warburg nukes and they will turn the shivan temp power from a elite boss to a regular boss, and drop the power of Deci's secondary effects.
It's been fun while it lasted though. My heart races when I go to solo an AV on my scrapper.
