CBR/CBZ is just renamed RAR/ZIP files so that the commonly-used comicbook reader software will serve as the default app to open the files when clicked on. Rename them back and you can open them with your compression software to see the individually-scanned pages, generally in JPG format. Just FYI....

I'm wondering if the reason my character was excluded was because I mistakenly forgot to submit some of the required information, even though I did resubmit everything later in full (albiet just the day after the deadline as I realized my mistake too late)? I had sent a PM to _Awry_ and posted in the forums but I never recieved a reply on this. If I wasn't selected for this reason I'd like to know. If they did accept my entry and it just didn't get chosen then I'd like to know that as well. Hanging in limbo like this is kind of frustrating. Just so you know, I sent in the brute Inferno Hammer.
Ah well, I didn't make it either. Wait, no... I submitted a Stalker. Yes. That's it, my stalker IS in there, she's just using Hide! Woot! I must have made it in!

Truth, unfortunately. Issue #12 was a real step back in terms of story quality.
I know nothing.
I still haven't gotten issue 10. Support told me they were having issues or something getting it out. But c'mon, I got 11, and then 12 I dunno how long ago.
I am formally on strike, as far as reading the comic goes, until I get Issue 10!!

Well, I wouldn't say it was that bad, but it was a little... predictible. Most of that particular plot was predictible to be honest. They need to come up with some really good plots, not just "now is the day i RULE THE WORLD!!!!" which is... OLD. And the idea of someone switching sides just to fool the opposition is the oldest schtick in the book.
So with that in mind, I don't think issue 12 could have been any less predictable. It didn't have much to go on. It was miles ahead of the blue king series of course... at least it didn't have horus in it.

Yup, issue 12 wasn't very good at all imo. the thing was, from issue 10s storyline, they could've gone *somewhere* with it, but then 11 messed that all up, and 12 made it even worse, this is the kind of plot the shows like The Tick make fun of becuase they are so stupid and cliche.
I tend to agree... what bugs me is that they're limiting the story arcs to three issues with a huge cast of characters.
The best part of the story arcs is that they do get into the character's stories, but at the expense of the drama of the present... I think the writers aren't to blame for this since they have to fit it all in in one compact three issue package.

You know what's even easier to read? The damn paper format we were given at the outset. Haven't read a single issue since the comic went digital except to stand in the comic shop and read the paper copies. Then I don't buy em, cause I'm supposed to get em free.
I keep mylaring my monitor but it just doesn't seem the same somehow.
And those who say, "They never specified the format," well, I wonder what you'd say if you won a Ferrarri and they handed you a Hot Wheels spouting the same crap.
