Patron Powers: Black Scorpion Mace Mastery
Dom's aren't considered a melee class though. They're PPPs are staying on the ranged scale.
May I make a suggestion?
Instead of the giant mace, can we get an Arachnos Gun for Stalkers? Drawing out a huge mace looks really funny with my stalker. This would make room for some really neat concepts, since you won't allow Scrappers/Stalkers to have pistols.
All that would be required is for the mace to be changed to a gun, keeping the same powers.

I've been testing Poisonous Ray the past 3 days after getting it 4 slotted (1acc/3def debuff), and here is what I have found:
1. The Debuff lasts between 26 and 30secs. This is after asking many people to count the debuff down in PVP. I myself counted 26secs. This is for both PVE and PVP.
2.The resist debuff adds around 16% to damage, and here is the test:
Test Subject: Bone Spider Commando
Color: White
Level: 41
Type: Minion
Player: Gialli
Level: 41
AT: Dominator
Power Sets: Ice/Psi
Power Used: Subdue
Before PR:
Subdue Damage on Screen: 104
Subdue Damage in Combat Chat: 103.59
After PR
Subdue Damage on Screen: 123
Subdue Damage in Combat Chat: 123.01
I'm guessing the debuff would be about the same in PVP. I also tested this power on a lvl45 Crey Power Tank Boss at lvl42. The resist debuff on him was 11%, which is due to the fact that he is +3 lvls higher than I and also a Boss.
3. The Def Debuff is much harder to test, so I can't really say how much the power debuffs def. However I did test it in pvp with a few Heroes, and here is the info:
I tested on a Ill/FF Controller with PFF 3 slotted with +2 Def buff enhancers. I hit ther with PR and ask her to turn on just PFF. I missed 10 out of 10 times with both Subdue and Chilblain 2 slotted with +2 acc enhancers. Take note that Chilblain has a base acc of 20%.
On a SR Scrapper with all def powers 3 slotted for def I found 2 acc enhancers in my attacks powers would hit him 9 times out of 10. I didn't even need to use PR for the def debuff. I tested PR and missed 9 times out of 10 with Elude up. Elude being 70.20% Def to all damage types. SR also has a resist to Def Debuff scaled to 50% resist at lvl50. Making PR useless on anyone with Elude up.
Thoughts:
The resist debuff in PVE is useless on anything less than a EB or Hero/AV. On a Hero/AV/EB the resist debuff would be much less due to the fact that past lvl41 most players fight +3 mobs. Still its not totally useless, as added damage is always nice. Just don't waste this power on a white con minion. PR can be used as a team damage buff as the -resist helps everyone.
In PVP as a Ice/Psi Dominator the -resist isn't needed, as psi damage is the least resisted in the PVP game. It would be much more useful to anyone with Smashing/Lethal damage in their assault set. For those toons it could be very nice when stacked twice.
The Def Debuff in PVE really isn't needed unless u plan to fight +5 mobs. The mobs that have high def are few and far between. Only Drones which come in large mobs have high def, and since PR is an ST attack it won't help u much. The Nem's also have a high def as they turn on Vengeance which is a huge buff to def, but since Vengeance is an AoE buff PRs ST doesn't help much.
In PVP the Def Debuff is useless as 2 acc enhancers will get past most def toggles 90% of the time. The only Dominator set that would get the most out of PR is Thorny Assault as they can stack -def debuff and have Aim to help take out FFers with PFF. Still they only have 10secs to do so, and I don't think PR can be stacked in that amount of time. Thorny Assault can also use the -resist debuff as most of their attacks do lethal damage.
Overall I think PR is lacking, and would have liked a -dam/-acc debuff much better for both PVE/PVP.
Anyone else test PR out, and what are your thoughts?
If I may make a small suggestion why not replace the pet with Targeting Drone? This solves the lack of Focused Accuracy in our PPP.
Has anyone had any bugs or trouble with the 1st storyline?
I got to the "Seek Info on Dr. Q" mission and happened upon a weird bug that occured each time I reset. When I rescue the Paragon Protector Elite it'll help me but before I'm able to get it to the terminal as per the mission requirements, it "freaks out" and begins to travel at Super Speed while flying back and forth. It disappears if it's out of my sight for a little.
I'm not sure what triggers the freak out. At first I thought it was simply commanding my henchmen to heel that's what it looked like, but then it spaz-ed out without me doing that.
I Bugged it but didn't expect a response considering it was like 2 AM.
targeting drone wont do damage, and provides a smaller tohit than FA (and probably doesnt resist tohitdebuffs like FA either)
so w/ the bringing of an Arachnos Mace...this means Brutes have a weapon to draw out?
Targeting Drone has the resists.
Anyone have a screenshot of what the Scorpion Armor looks like?

I /bug'ed it on test. I ended up having to reset the mission and made very sure not to let the PP lose line of sight on me the second time through.
Can anyone confirm that the -jump is included and working in the live version of the web grenade powers that corrs get with the Black Scorpion Mace?
I hear conflicting reports. I am interested in hearing someone with first hand PvP experience with the webnade powers.
I can confirm that when I get webnaded by NPCs, I cannot jump at all and am slowed to a crawl. Haven't been hit by a player yet, though.

I had this exact same problem too.... and around 2AM as well
yeah, damn npc's have 3 slows slotted in their web nades
I don't know about the web grenade powers yet, but I've been running with Scorpion Sheild on my master mind. Holy crap is this thing powerful when stacked with robotics/force fields on a master mind running body guard! Dispersion bubble, scorpion sheild, and the bot bubble buffs with +3 SOs basically is a 39% defense against smashing/lethal, and roughly 33% or so against energy attacks. While that may not seem like a big deal in a world populated by scrappers who are all running +39% focused accuracy powers, in PVE this is awesome, as 50% is the standard number on tohit buffs across the board on baddies and non aim non focused accuracy players and NPCs.
I'm quite litterally tanking (and then decimating) spawns made for 8 man teams with these defenses and the bots with this setup, and quite like it. Move over brutes, there's a new damage sponge in town!
I am hoping the web powers in the master mind sets do as advertised and kill off jumping/flying, as this would make this patron power a perfect compliment for a master mind in pvp (space, root, then nuke).

I was able to get the Scorpion shield as well for my MM and can say it's very handy indeed. I'm even gladder to say that the End cost is negligible which means I can use the extra slots somewhere else.
I'm trying to get a numbers matchup going here, but need Maneuvers numbers for a Mastermind. The buff is 11.25% (same as the shield provides) to defense, no? What I want to compare is actual damage mitigation of taking Scorpion Shield compared to taking the resistance ones...and while I suspect the final numbers are close, I want to double check...I'm also trying to do this with other than Bot/FF builds.
uhh maneuvers is more like 2% defense. it sucks
btw i saw scorp's weapon last night and it's not the executioner style gun? i thought it was supposed to be the big hulking one that looked like a battleaxe, but it's just the dinky mace you see the lvl 1 arachnos troops use. lame

Depends on your AT. I know that Masterminds don't get the full Defender buff (by far), but they give more than the 7% that Blasters/Tanks/Scrappersatgive.
are you thinking of assault? that gives about the numbers you're thinking of. the numbers i've seen for maneuvers are always around 2.5%, depending on your AT

(*thinks*) perhaps. I'll have to double-check...
Didn't read all the thread, but here goes.
My 44 corruptor has the AoE Immobilize, and the Web Cocoon.
The animation time on these is RIDICULOUS.
The animation time alone means that i'm actually never using neither of them, since i could do 3-4 attacks instead.
It is because of this animation time that i will respec out of both powers.
It needs a serious fix, freezing for 5 seconds to land a weak hold is a good way to get killed.
are they only availible for certin classes?? if so what powers can stalkers get?
A quick search didn't turn anything up, but has anyone noticed that the Mastermind version of Web Envelope doesn't prevent knockback?
I can use it to immobilize a lot of guys if they're bunched up good, but as soon as the bots start shooting, the webbed enemies start getting tossed around like rag-dolls. Which is annoying if you're trying to keep the immobilized enemies in the incendiary rockets' burn patches
No, it was lazy =P
