    that's what i've felt for several months about domination. the rare occasions i play my doms i just use domination as a endurance bar filler. because i dont need the dmg or control, or my team never would've lived long enough for me to build domination in the first place


    and i thought of a good idea for holds working on bosses/eb's/av's...have each hold application lock out one of the enemy's attacks for its duration. similar to how hami can only fire off one attack now while he's held. and of course the limit would be the real mag resistance to holds. if that isnt broken (purple triangles up) the enemy can still use at least 1 attack (maybe a "summon ambush" call or something?)
  2. both of those mind powers are on looong recharges. and mass hypnosis is often broken because people like to use aoe's at the start of a fight, while the enemies are grouped. and many ppl still complain that confuse steals their xp...

    i agree about creepers though, they're great. at what, lv 26? or is it 18?
  3. on my (semi-retired, 'til they fix doms) plant/fire i used dom purely as endurance filler. i'd get it charged up and pop it whenever my end got depleted, and if i didnt run out of end i'd just pop it on the mish boss and call it good

    doms can survive just fine without domination, but they're mediocre. make them good without it and great with it, and i'll play my dom again
  4. yeah. i hate how our attacks (and this goes for all AT's) do less than a blaster's, yet cost the exact same endurance. if you reduce the dmg, reduce the end costs too, to represent that we're going to have to use more attacks to kill something

    Not initially, but the patch following should have it. I forget to stick that in on the original change, and QA helpfully pointed it out, but not in time to reach the version going out.

    Soooo....AVs can't hold a dom and a dom still can't hold an AV?

    And to top it off my troller can still outdamage my dom....one shot yellow minions vs. three shotting white minions.....

    just to clarify, av's can't hold a dom during the 90 secs domination is up. they can still hold and 1-shot doms just fine in the other 200+ seconds

    Actually, I'd prefer to have some good mez protection when NOT in Domination mode, and have it go away in Domination mode.

    The real issue is the lackluster abilities outside of Domination, which is most of the time. I think that's what turns most players off the archetype. It's easy to give up on dominators by the late teens when you're doing mediocre damage most of the time with high endurance costs. Beefing up Domination won't make the archetype any more attractive, since Domination is already very nifty.

    I'd second this idea. Seems like it would hopefully appeal to the devs idea of risk vs. reward still too. Make doms safer outside of domination, but to become more powerful in our holding and damage with domination activated, we get the drawback of becoming "vulnerable" to mezzing.

  7. BU and AIM only last for 10, whats your point? you should unload your chain in those 10 secs and run whether your target's dead or not

  15. blasters are all about burst dmg before someone can hold/kill them...i dont see a problem. pop some lucks instead of the breakfree, or pop the BF and a couple yellows (or buildup, OR aim, OR have tactics)
  16. on females (maybe males too?) some of the belts (notably the tech one with the oval belt buckle) are availble for tights torsos, but not sleevless jackets...

    and overrated means people say it's good but it really isnt, i think you meant to say overpowered.

    and one stalker took on two lv 50 fire armor tanks? wow. he must be really good, or you were being really dumb
  18. no hami can still use one attack through holds. nice change. people can still beat him pretty easy, just keeps em on their toes a little bit more

    but if they didnt see you the first time you snuck up, then it's not perception, it's just not losing aggro
