I'm particularly disappointed with the Mastermind powers. Free clue, devs: the AT with the lowest hit points in the game does not need AE powers.

I would say its because Doms desperately need something.
Perhaps its a little nod to the fact that theyre so underpowered in comparison to the other Villain ATs.

Thanks Awry, just as I predicted 
Heroes are more screwed than it appears. A Team of 8 Villains will be having a team of at least 8 Pet's. So conflicts with Villains will be more chaotic than one would think.
Second is the use of Web Grenades or Web Grenade style power is currently underestimated. Most of the descriptions of these powers clearly states that the Web Cocoon is a more powerful one. It also sounds like it gets more range. It's a Hold, a -recharge, a slow, a -Jump, and a -Fly. Plus the Corruptor set get's two of them, one which is going to be an AOE....
Damn it and I just lvled my Ill/TA...
Ok...It may have been mentioned, but did anyone, upon seeing the power "Summon Blaster" imediately picture tossing synapse? Anybody...?Just me?

build up, conserve power, Powerboost, focused accuracy..
Any of the good powers? anything to make it worth being locked into all the power and not being able to change.
So we are locked in and have weaker sets than heros

For the foreseeable future, people are going to be permanently locked into power pools that are by and large inferior to the hero versions - which are fully respeccable.
By this repetition of your usual mantra against whiners - are you implying that you think this is good and fair? Or just condemning all complaints? Or some third option?
Awry can you tell us what power the woman surrounded by strands of light (last picture down) is using? I'm hoping it's one of Ghost Widows... basically I'm wondering how different the power animations are from their base power... I like swirly light but not so much the shadow and darkness that comes with the dark powers.

Wow, I was pretty excited here until I read the mastermind powers. Without a new pet for the fourth power, or other pet related powers, I find it hard to justify taking any of them. I am sure the protective buffs would be nice, but the rest of the patron powers MMs get just scream "shoot at me".
Honestly, my level 41 - 50 power slots would probably be smarter spent on more powers from my primary, secondary and common pools.
Really not impressed at all with the cookie-cutter selections provided. Moreover, not at all impressed with the selections provided to Brutes.
I am a Brute. I have LOTS of attack powers available, and already taken, in my repetoire. I really don't need any more. Utility powers, something interesting to use other than trying to add more attacks to an already set attack chain, doesn't provide any usefulness to me at all, whatsoever. As each Brute option is a single target attack, an AOE or cone attack, one power that could be considered mildly utilitarian in nature, and then a summon - I find almost nothing of any value to me.

In the lobby of the watchtower in Grandville is a statue of each of Lord Recluse's lieutenants. At the base of this statue is a plaque that, when you click on, brings up a text box with tabs. The tabs are for the Archetype, and it goes into detail about the powers (including the hard numbers) that that Patron will give that Archetype. (Thus you can easily look at all the patron powers for your AT, and even those not for your AT).
You are given a mission to visit each of these plaques before you choose your patron.
