Beat me by a couple minutes, as I spent a few minutes staring at this thinking "Wha....?" before I was distracted by a lawnmower outside.
My first "turning point" in this city was during the Rularuu Invasion, and charging in with my BS/Regen Scrapper. Skyway City, at Level 10. It went...poorly.
I for one totally agree with your assessment and stance. Kudos to you.
Just say no to 324zxwer23orzs~!
I've already forgotten about most of you
What level was the Mancusan Dentrid?
Did you have Squisha on your team earlier that night? The last time we ran into a Mancusan Dentrid with a team that low was because of a exolated Squisha. We reset the mission and rebuilt the team with no issues. Good luck navigating Devon Downs, the Wilpwals gave my LV13 Spotter hell last time I went in there, I almost ran back to Virtualian and attempted the Kozrum trial!! It was THAT BAD!!! LOL!!
....................... The scary thing is I kinda understood him even though I don't know what game he was playing.
In the Arena of Logic, I fight unarmed.
I actually felt the brain cells dying on that one.
The only thing I'm not getting the gist of is "Frozen Chrysalis".
Which is that exactly? There are a couple of things that could fit the picture, but for those levels.........?

.....riiiiiiiiiiiiigt..........
I think it's time to lay off the crazy juice for a while.
I hate the Mancusans.
I mean, I hate the Groovies and the Bizarros, too, but I really, really hate the Mancusans.
Wha...geez...I dont even have a silly ytmnd link to post for THIS one....
I've been noticing the same thing, even past level 18-Delta. It's quite annoying when my Norion (Beam Staff/Phoenix) bothers to get a full guild together, and uses Pheonix Roar on each of them, only to be killed by a Mancusan Huntress' Nyhoot attack. Sometimes I can Revert to shrimp form and dodge it, but that Talent requires 9843 Banten Power Cells and a Rociou Beak, not to mention its TtC (Time to Cast)! Of course, with a Thaninee Grulch with us, it becomes easier, and the Brulg Crab-Spiders she summons give us +23 Cryole Ability. But they are hard to contact, many people are switching to the less-nerfed Bantion Warlord class. I hope they fix this soon.
I can't quite follow, but trying to figure it out is fun!

So, is this normal? Do you usually see Mancusans on this mission? Is there some connection between the Frozen Chrysalis and these guys? Or was it just some random event?
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh for heaven's sake... right click and read their INFO.
Yes, there IS a connection, but it's not the obvious one. Think Gravid Cell-Seed, like in the early levels, but in reverse.
If that's still not clear enough, go back and read the plaque under the statue of Nim.

Oh, now it makes sense. I just finished The Chronicle of Nim Warpath in the Dovian Ice Sector.
*SPOILERS AHEAD!!!*
Now, since Nim was once a Frozen Chryslis itself, before it turned into a Multorn Ravager, its Mancusan warriors attack and fight with the FCs for control of Nim's Chaonixis Orbule, which it left in the hollow freeze capsule after it metamorphosized. It makes total sense now.

Zing - we have a winner. That's exactly what I meant by in reverse - the Multorn Host go through the process of turning into symbiotic Gravid Cell-Seeds once they've absorbed sufficient mana, which is what creates the 'scum patches' under the Scaffold that all the noobs complain about, but the Mancusan attendants of a of a first-stage Multorn are what do the harvesting of mana so that the Chrysalis can develop. That's why they hit so hard. Put very basically, it's like the relationship between drones and a queen.
You sir, Uniquedragon would eat your silly frivoity for lunch and excrement out lesbian skuls.
Why don't I ever get Protrusion inspirations?
I don't speak this crazy moon language.
Best-post-ever!
I am a bit upset though, there's so much content now, but once you get to the Salcrow Keys and start fighting wild sleekipoes, it all goes downhill. Doesn't make my gripper (hysteria/seven orbs) feel like much of a hero. I mean, I spent so much time grinding against those damn sliverfish, and now it's like I don't matter.
As long as we're talking about this, I have another problem: I was playing my Zeta-Class Lvl 78 Yuroknowltafe, and I looked in the Caverns of Pragnosian Hate to find some easy Magrot Tridins, but when I landed from my Brusian speeder I was ambushed by a horde of Crelnar'kt, which wasn't surprising, judging by the fact that I was carrying Plougat Chunks with me, and that I had just completed the Horn of Gjar Warpath. The odd thing was, they were all carrying Faggositan Monk Satchels, which they used to sap my Loyu right out of its capsule! I was left with no Loyunian Protecting Sheild, and they beat me all the way to Regatan! Is this supposed to be happening?

Have you ever received a loyunian Protecting Shield drop? I've been playing this since pre-Nubian-beta (2nd wave no less) and I've yet to see a LPS of the correct Abule-type (I play a 2nd-class Zinion-Magelet). And what really peeves me is you need an LPS to get into the Devon Downs 7th level of Deceit. If I can't get into the 7th Level of Deceit, I can't farm Ambrotic Crystals which I need to craft into Post-Albunian Helmets.
<sigh>
Any help here is appreciated.
Q. Just wondering Posi, where are the new dance emotes we were told would come with GR?
A. Positron: Whoops, my bad.
1387 badges, and counting
I think I just lost some brain cells.
So, I was part of a pickup team the other night, fighting Frozen Chrysalis in a door mish over in Devon Downs. Mainly the Wingwalker minions, with a few of those nasty Umbrial lieutenants, but no sign of the Crushed Tarsis bosses.
I was playing my level 12 Spotter, with both Sever and Mandated Insignia fully slotted for Transience, and a full tray of Cognizance and Protrusion insps.
We also had a level 11 Cracker (Invention/Mandibles), a level 13 Soma (Density/Polarity), and another Spotter, but level 11 Adhesion/Tension. Nice rounded team, right?
We clear out a room on the third balcony, go up the last ladder, and there's a Mancusan Dentrid, bristling with shiv-shooters, and we're like Huh? The Soma went down after one swipe. I laid down Submersion to buy us some time, but the Cracker and the other Spotter hardly had time to get in one hit before they got wiped too. I headed for the ladder, but face-planted before I took two steps.
So, is this normal? Do you usually see Mancusans on this mission? Is there some connection between the Frozen Chrysalis and these guys? Or was it just some random event?
Just curious.
