Well, I just wish all you Zinion-Magelets would stop treating us other charator sets as second rate and holding yourselves above the rest of us. We have the same problems as you do, I mean, it took me THREE MONTHS to finally find a temporary Kandor Shield, and it wasn't even constructed properly so I had ot search again, but I struggled through and at the same time I got my Kandor Shiled AND Kanglif Staff (don't nerf it! heheh). I mean, every time something doesn't go your way you Magelets just whine and say "give me this, give me that" If you want something so bad, take this *quick slash with Kanglif Staff*

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, I don't really think this is a very fair comment. Remember the first post-Nubian Release (pre-Xanobian nerf of course). The Zinion Magelet players were the first to get onside against the proposed Kandor Shield nerf, which I'm happy to say the devs rolled back (although a month later with the introduction of the Xanobian mob with his natural reverberous resistance to the Kandor Shield made it a short lived victory).

[/ QUOTE ]

I will give them that, they helped my Soma's with the Shield, but still, they have a way of whining about every thing, from the tiniest things suck as the Shraper Mysticals reverse after the first month of realse to the recent Mancusan nerf ... but I mean, they just need to give it a damn break!

Well, Cuppa is great and this isn't aimed at her -- three cheers for the messenger -- but it's about time that they fixed those bad spawns.

I mean, this has been on the bug list since the first weeks of beta. How long ago was that? Three years?!? And now it's worse than ever. It used to not happen very often (but man, it was hard when it hit), now it's almost all the time.

So now 10 fissions and 4 PAID expansions later, they're finally getting around to fixing this. But, oh they had time to add the Bollon Kine submenafin exploration (that no one ever does), the Zelenvang Bruzzels (that's ALWAYS empty) and surfing. SURFING!

This is ridiculous. Just ridiculous

I'm so confused I forgot how to laugh. How bad is THAT!?

just.... wow. and now it's marked in the dev tracker. oh CJ, this is to timeless. I'm afraid to reread any part of this in fear I'll forget how to do my mundane job tomorrow!

Woah! ... I mean, I haven't seen a Kartomancy user below clearence level 45HH!? ESPECIALLY as a 3rd Ordinal...sheesh.

[/ QUOTE ]

Third Fission removed the CL requirement. The third ordinal isn't too hard to get if your Guild has ownership of the Mentate Plastibule. But I don't expect to see 4th before 60.

[ QUOTE ]
And that scaling rate is crazy! I tought my 3.2 was high, but 3.4 is off the chains, man!

[/ QUOTE ]

And I have the divorce to prove it! (j/k) It didn't hurt that I was mugged in an alleyway by rugby hooligans in nun habits, and laid up for a month (Okay, well THAT hurt). I had some extra free time.

[ QUOTE ]
A few suggestions, take a few Matrix Points from TRN and add them to your FER, I know a lot of people think FER isn't good for the time it takes to improve it, but it's worth it in the long run when you're facing those damn Riddioans in the 77TQ+ game.

[/ QUOTE ]

Read my previous post about the Protu Insps.

[ QUOTE ]
And hey, if you're on the Candeolos server you need to show me your Quivering Kartolance, I only have the water/ice versons.

[/ QUOTE ]

Done. I earned a Heliotrack Pass last night in the Grouseman arc. So I'll switch servers tomorrow (and I'll show you where I farm the Protu's). And if you're interested, I think members of the same sub-messen can combine Kartolances even if they are opposing diamörs. The resonance alone would be enough to take down the Spore Hound in DD if you're willing to camp him for a couple hours.

You know what, it's whiners like you who make the devs nerf everything. If I want to have TRN grafted by level 6 Omega, then what does it matter? If you don't like fighting Gravers with it, then stay out of the Stadium. It's how I have fun, and I'm tired of you and people like you telling me I can't have fun my way.

[/ QUOTE ]

You know, I'm just tired of every time someone mentions a factor that can be considered "overpowered" the same old refrain of "nerf-herder" is brought out.

Hey, I don't think the Dev's are perfect. When they stealth nerfed the transept ability's valence by 75%, I was calling for accountability from the Dev's as loudly as anyone, and I don't even have a Soma!

We should schedule a meeting in the stadiums, I'll show you what a properly templated equifax can do to a graver.

Okay, I've rematrixed my build for the Mancusan nerf, and I guess I want to know what you guys think:

Camp:Soma
Province:Spanner
Stature:Delta-34.6
1st Ordinal Matrix:Tachyon
2nd Ordinal Matrix:Nature (Ray)
3rd Ordinal Matrix (Epic):Kartomancy

KYN: |||||||||||
FER: |||||
TRN: ||||||||||||||||

Actual Matrices:
<ul type="square">[*]Tachyon Stare[*]Tachyon Parry[*]Nugol Radiccion[*]Paraflyne Skin
Zoman Matrices
<ul type="square">[*]Summon Andelynnian Mimpo[*]Drawn Supposition[*]Mantid Brevetation
Hereditary Matrices (Epic)
<ul type="square">[*]Kartometric Imposition[*]Quivering Kartolance (fire)
Mana:12
Bolst:2
Scaling Rate:3.4 (I know!!! )

I still have one rematrixing left after the Raid last Thursday of Torbid the Hunjil's Dentrid Caves, so If I gimped myself too badly, I can always try it again.

[/ QUOTE ]

Your plan looks like you've got some hard hitting powers, but I'm concerned about your Mana regeneration. You've got some attributes that use a lot of Angstroms, and the only restoration ability I see is your Radiccion, which from the powers post only has a maximum restoration of 1776Å/minute.

I'm just worried that you'll be gasping for breath after the first three rotations.

lol ... don't even get me started on Spotter's, even after their nerfs they're still overpowered *cough*Nubians*cough*

Posted

Yeah, well to bring it full circle, the Nubians are the only way a level 12 Spotter fights Frozen Chrysalis when he's slotted for Transience.

The Mancusan Dentrid seems like a bit of poetic justice for such a min-maxed character since the shiv-tox is typed (Boronian) and causes the Nubians to lose their antipodes and go crazy. It's messy, and I would have given anything to be on that mission with a Obfuscate Heendrider!

Wouldn't we all! Don't get me started on those Heendrider's ... most of them are just stupid. Last one I teamed with was a complete idiot. We were fighting the Lestominalte Elites and he tries to use Ice Wagflux (lol!), let's just say he would've been sent back to Voxurmalish if it wasn't for my Fire Pigons...HAHA

I still think Gravers need a boost. I haven't seen a single Earth Meld Graver since the third fission, probably in no small part because they have that glaring lack of defenses against Genetic Damage, and almost all the new enemies at the time were using it. Solar Meld isn't in much better of a position, because its pet (Solar Shifter) takes three times as much damage as normal from Genetic, and can barely deal any damage when it chooses forms (We should really be allowed to choose its form, I don't know how many times I've had it act like it was going to become a Mancusan Dentrid, only to become a Rakari Ice Marrow) until it can sap energy from nearby Light Forges (which, I might add, are few and far between when in-mission). My FER stat at least makes it so I can keep a steady stream of Shifters for when mine inevitably gets ionized, but it's really annoying having to reconstitute them from their basic elements.

This is somewhat unrelated, but why are there so many Nihilata Cleric Droids and Lorants Gravebinders in the Horact Fire Mines? It doesn't really make sense, those two groups utterly despise eachother, so why are they working together in there (This is a Scale 5.5-6.3 area, level 60-82)?

But if they pull Manuscans out of the Frozen Chrysalis missions, then what about the fluff ties between the factions? Will they battle in the streets and only one survive or something? Do you guys pay ANY attention to the game bible anymore? When was the last time anyone actually looked at the piles of background and went, "whoa...we shouldn't do this or it'll foul up the story!" You guys are ruining the game for those of us who live for stories like the Frozen Chryaslis coup or the Air Hammer revolt.

Man...this blows...

Heh.

I was wondering how long it would take for a RTFGB post to show up

But c'mon that's what the Story Servers are for: Candelos, Wompfurth, Masidosian, Carnyte, Gurdnik are all simultaneously driving the plot forward for the other 14 servers! The Reprecussion Engine from fission 2 works over time to update the relation parameters between the various factols and their respective broodkin. All of this generates thousands of updates per kilorotation, and makes it difficult to keep up if your not subscribed to the daily plot notes. I know if I joined now, I wouldn't be able to wade through the first volume of the GB. As it is, I'm not even sure about the genesis of the Cracker Virus or why King Muon is the Leftenvore of Hyrellia, and Carnyte is my home server!

But as for pulling out the Dentrids, it makes perfect sense if you read Week 23's Plot Notes (page 123)

[ QUOTE ]
Lady Mancusa, at the behest of her people, abandon the Frozen Chrysalis in hopes that the Heliarchs of the Trudint Faction would follow her example. For now, the Dentrids maintain an uneasy truce with the Heliarchian overlords, but sages warn that the smallest spark can ignite all of Gurthwyte!

[/ QUOTE ]

And then week 13 has the info on the Heliarchs and the Overlord Wars.

Wait a minute, I think this guy may have given me the codex to deciphering this crazy-talk! Rat Income is an anagram of Manticore, which makes sense, since the book mentioned is based on, "The Web of Arachnos." So... wait. Mancusans=Arachnos? But Arachnos is CoV-only right now... BLAST, foiled again! What does all of this mean?! Are you people on the wacky tobacky?! You're those dirty communist hippies, aren't you, trying to conquer this thread for your forum cartel! Well it ain't gonna work! You may have Cuppajo on your side, but Statesman don't play the crazy game, sucka!

Oh, you had to bring up the Sucka's didn't you? With the introduction of the 7th-Prism Sucka mobs in the 3rd class-post-Nubian release, the entire combat balance has been thrown out of wack for all (well, reverberous/illuminous Tiggleboars perhaps the notable exception). Suckas with thier natural inkoramious resistances have made most player-accessible niggletoons redundant. And, don't get me started on the bilorafous kalotroons.

Q. Just wondering Posi, where are the new dance emotes we were told would come with GR?
