I'd like to see hover board behave the same as regular flight. However combat becomes the issue with a whole new set of animations. I think the right solution would be to separate the torso rigs from the stance rigs (sliding, riding, flying, standing) but, that would require such an overhaul it will probably cost far too much time, even if it does clean up the animation files, it'd be adding to it at the same time. From a high level I'd be surprised if this doesn't also answer 1-leg, 3-leg 4-leg rigging issues I read somewhere (I think the Aug 4 transcript from ustream?)...

I can't think of how else I'd program it to use the current rigs other than limiting hoverboard animations to non-combat use.

giant bee or wasp
dinosaur (raptor, pteradactyl)
umbrella (Mary Poppins style, yo!)

skis (water and snow)

created road (source styles: rainbow brite, iceman, etc.)
graple swing
light cycle
light jet
Yoda's chair
animal morphing (bat/eagle/cheetah/etc.)
morph ball
tunnelling
broomstick (with side-saddle option) - in same thought, mop and vacuum cleaner.
flying disc
wake-board sized flying objects
a really big paper airplanes
personal helecopter harness

spines is kinda tough, but my spines/ scrap Ivory Quill I think branched out a bit from the normal...

If anything I hope it gets some ideas churning...

I have seen some REALLY good ones of these, many of characters owned by ppl that I know got in big trouble for playing the toon. I could do my best to recreate the image from what I remember (it was 3 years ago since they had the looks)

if you want to guarantee the mods give you a go-ahead or confirm a no, make sure to send Ex or LH a pm with a link to the thread explaining you want to be within the confines of the EULA. of course, if you've already done that then ignore that comment. best of luck and I'd participate if its ok.

I just started my arts collection for Summer, and to perform an idea like this is totally awesome. I hope I can pull this off at a comicon or something similar one day

So, after a few family-related days away from the game, I realized I really didn't like my 4th costume. My 5th right now is just stuck as a seasonal look. My first 3 are staples of how Summer looks, his first being the beefcake look that he's had for 3 years (updated occasionally when better pieces were released), his second is his battle armor (yes I know I used all the way black - my monitor is bright enough to get away with it for my tastes), and his third is his pure-fire form.
I like the look and feel of these three on him (they've been hashed out long enough in some cases and for one was the whole inspiration for the character)

suggestion guidelines:

critics welcome of all manners of tact - I'm a big enough boy to handle it.

I would like something without armor pieces. I'd like to keep the battle armor look unique on him, though suggestions on the head are fine (not married to the helmet esp. if we get armored headbands )

I'm especially having trouble with the colors. I want to keep something for the new costume with oranges and warm colors, but I've yet to see yellow look good on him...

the starting point for this is as clean a slate as you can imagine, because there is nothing on the current 4th or 5th costumes I want to preserve in the next look.

I thought I remember the Nem staff being more...colorful...right now it looks more fitting with a clockwork than a nemesis armored robot.
