Clowns (Why?)

So I can make my Character 'Funhouse' and a giant boxing glove on one of them extend'o things can be an attack and a zappy handshake ....umm juggling.... acid flower squirt umm... OK not a very diverse set. you'd probably just end up with Eleventy billion joker clones. but still

Clowns are scary enough, darnit.

...and I forgot to add 'Mimes' to that list, which I also contest are scary enough without them being EVIL.

well a loooonnng time ago, when Ultima Online ruled the earth, some fan made a animated flash presentation showing how to lock the skill sliders in the game.. and a few weeks later THEY PUT IT IN THE GAME... so I dont think the same will happen for Cox, yet it might go faster if they saw fleshed-up mock-ups of ideas..including names and powers break down... sooo time to work on making some fake-cox classes and making it look like the real McCoy...

---------------------------

hero version of villian MM

-- Squad Leader --

3 pets max .. one main and two secondary

..the main pet would be one lvl higher then hero with the two secondary pets being the same lvl as the hero...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

would something like this be a booster pack or an issue upgrade?? -- im thinking booster pack cuz you have ta pay for it, so they might be more willing ta make it if they get cash in there pockets for it.. an advanced expansion pack
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Cox Advanced expansion pack " Masterminds and Squad-Leaders"

featuring new hero class " Squad-Leader"

Squad-Leader pets include:

Nature companion:
Wolf, Bird, Bat, Bear, Bull, Shark, Dog..ect..

Magic summoning:
Demon, Vampire, Succubus, Skeleton..ect

Radio Reinforcement:
Longbow, PPD, ...ect

----------------------------------------------------------------

Added Master Mind pets

Skeletons, Demons, Clowns, ..and..err.. one more i think..
----------------------------------------------------------------

I get all my info straight and make a fake promo-flyer for it

..anyone have any suggestions or addins ?????

Puppets

I'm thinking,

That ZUNI Fetish Warrior Doll from the Trilogy of Terror
Puppet Master lineup: Blade, Six Shooter, Tunneler, Jester, Pinhead, and Leech Woman
Chucky and his Bride Tiffany
Pin - Haven't seen it, but from this description, I think I'm going to have to get it.
And just for SnG's, Kankuro's Puppet

Heh. All reminds me of a very, very twisted D&D short adventure one of my old DMs ran us through, that was inspired from a snippet in a Ravenloft campaign guide.

The valiant adventurers (plus one skeevy Changeling on probation - I love my job) roll up into a town after having a very disturbing encounter in the woods (the fact that it got too quiet, and nothing came out to eat us - that was a new one on us). Adding further to the weird vibe was that no one in the town was what we could consider an adult - all children of at most 16, going about their lives in some mockery of a normal town.

I did my best Han Solo impression ("I've got a bad feeling about this."), and we started probing around while getting supplies. Turns out, something bad happened to everyone over 18 one day, except one crazy old toymaker who lives in a house on the hill. But nobody's sure if he's really dead or not - the remaining children were scared of the house before, heck with losing their parents all a-sudden. We drew lots for scout duty and the ranger lost (I cheated, for the record).

Ranger returns a few hours later, and reports that he's not sure what he saw - but he found a journal written in a language he didn't know. Turns out, the crazy old guy had been working on a puppet he could bring to life in lieu of a real son. And it just got crazier and crazier, until the end where it abruptly cut off. Sneaky McGetsintrouble (IE: Me~.) snooped around, and heard rumors that kids had seen a little puppet at the outskirts of town on occasion, and just magically got food and stuff.

You can probably see where this is going, and I'm gonna stop before it gets to the really disturbing stuff, but I think everyone got an irrational distrust and/or fear of puppets after that one.

EDIT: Same DM is also the guy that game me a pathological fear of kobolds a few adventures after, and is one of the reasons most players boggle at just how much crap I carry with me. I steadfastly refuse to be caught unprepared, period. No more repeats!

That so reminds me of one gaming session where one of my friends, we'll call him Bee Oh Bee Bob. I was on my Gnome Ill/Thief, another player was on his fighter, and 'Bob', completely out of character, went with a Ranger. Typically, Bob will go with the Barbarian and that's usually a good choice for him as there is really little thinking involved.

So, we're tromping around in the woods, we come across a Kobold camp with maybe about 9 of them, take them out with little problem and what does 'Bob' say?

"Let's loot them!"

My other friend and I just dead-pan stare at each other, and of course I can't let this go without comment.

"Bob, they have sticks with nails in them. I don't think they're going to have anything worth stealing."

Granted, we did find that Vorpal Blade in the rubbish pile...
