Raids aren't a major concern.

My main is a Green Lantern inspired toon and my only 50, though I've been playing for years and am a 51 month veteran (not counting the years I quit paying). I've been a member of the Paragon Lantern Corps and the Emerald Order (ally to Galaxy Guardians). But I'm an altaholic and have been known to go years between logging in to this particular toon, especially when I try out other MMOs (I'm also a longstanding friend of one of the WoW Black Rose Guilds). Both SGs have bitten the dust.
But I'm still here! And I like to keep an eye on the Guardian channel because it's so active. (And since this is my main and the only toon I've focused on leveling to 50, it's the only one I care about collecting badges or task forces for.)
Not really interested in joining another SG. I AM interested in coalitions with other people.

My pet peeve is people who refuse to acknowledge it when I tell them my character has unlimited power. Other information: Strike Force was originally started a very long time ago. Recently a number of officers returned to the game (myself included), and found the SG we had come to love pretty much abandoned. We have taken it upon ourselves to rebuild the group to it's former glory and provide a fun community where all of our members can prosper. We currently control to hero side groups with large feature-filled bases and are working towards recruiting as many old members back as we can. Despite others who claim the title, the Twilight Avengers are THE guild for raiding and end-game content on the Guardian and Pinnacle servers. We don't worry about some arbitrary ranking system based on prestige, which anyone can accumulate, since we have more than we'll ever need for the max-sized base we have on each server. Instead, we show our quality by tackling the most difficult things the game has to offer...and mastering them without shortcuts or temp powers.
You want to be able to raid the Hamidon effectively? We host weekly raids on the Guardian server, and have taken him down in as little as 9 minutes without nukes or any other temps. We have also hosted several successful villain raids on the Pinnacle server. And our weekly private guild raids have accomplished it even faster than that, and with significantly fewer people.
You want to succeed in the Cathedral of Pain? We've taken it down with our heroes in 7 minutes without any nukes, shivans, or other assistance.

Other information: The Privateer Protectorate was conceived as the "little" sister group of the PTB (Powers Treatment Board). The group is coalitioned most notably with the Omega Revolution and the PTB, as well as a handful of other side project supergroups. Storywise this supergroup is meant to be a no-frills superhero temp agency, whose purpose is to connect superheroes with propective clients. Dispite the no-frills label, our base is equiped with what you would expect a base to have (teleporters to all the zones, a medi-bay, a vault, several inspiration stations, and aspect of pillar, and some crafting tables).

I have two SG's and two VG's on Guardian (and quite a few on other servers). I don't recruit for them, however, I will always give a home anyone who needs one without any qualification or commitment required from you.
There are a lot of SG/VGs out there of varying styles. If you want a home for TP/med/vault/crafting table use while you form your own opinion on whether you want to join a SG/VG with rules or start your own private SG for you and your friends only, give me a shout, I'm more than happy to help. There are pro's and con's to both ways so make up your own mind.
No unsubstantiated claims about my SG/VG or me and no strings and no need to play in SG mode either (Link: although there isn't a penalty for doing so until level 25). Quit whenever you want; I'm just offering temporary homes while you find your feet.
I don't run great raids like Twilight Avengers, (Link: although I do run very successful Master runs) or am RP-focused or will always be around every evening between x and y. For over two years I've offered coalitions to people starting up new SG/VGs. You get to use my porters/vault/crafting table while you build prestige for your own SG/VG. I've grown over half a dozen SG/VGs from nothing and I know it's a lot easier if you take out the cost of porters etc.
Again no strings and please break the Coalition when you no longer need it so I can pick up another group.
SOLO SG INVITING
Precise: Will happily pop a char into your solo SG to invite your alts
The lack of off-line inviting can be a pain to the solo SG unless you run more than one account. If you need your alts invited to your SG give me a yell I'm more than happy to drop an alt in there to do the invites then quit your SG. I've been doing this for quite a while for people who have asked in channels and in broadcast so might as well add it to this post too.

RolePlay?: While not necessary, as a Jedi themed SG many aspects will lean towards RPing.
Membership levels: 1-50(We prefer new toons. This will allow the players to take advantage of our incentive programs)
Normal time of Gameplay: All current members live in Eastern Time Zone. We play mostly evenings, weekends, and 3rd shift.
Other information: The Jedi Counsel on Coruscant dispatched Sirken and Green Judge to planet earth to find other Force sensitives and recruit them in the battle against the Dark Side. All members start out as Younglings and will be chosen by a Master as their Padawan Learner. As the Master, they will guide the young Padawan in the ways of the Force and help them navigate Paragon City. We team often and will be running weekly Task Forces. PvP events might be scheduled as we gain members.
Recruiting?: Yes. We are looking for new Force sensitives to join our fight. As Masters of the Force, we know that it manifests itself in many ways. There will be no restrictions on Power or AT selection. You can contact @Sirken or @X43 in game for a SG invite.

Requirements for Membership: I don't have any hard-core requirements (must be this build, must play this many days per week, etc.) I could even care less if you decide to stick around. I always tell players "If you're not having fun here then instead of quitting the game, go find a place where you will have fun."

Stuff: We are the number 1 group on the server as far as prestige. We do not have hard rules for being in SGmode but we certainly encourage it. Being #1 is a point of pride.

1. You are required to have an account on the BoP forums. The amount you post does not matter. Part of joining BoP is also joining this forum.
2. We use Ventrilo voice communication software. While it is not required yet, we do highly recommend you get it. If you don't have a microphone, at least use it to listen in. Check http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php for downloading and more info. Then go to the How to section and find our login info buried in there somewhere.
3. If you are gone for more then 20 days then you will be demoted or kicked. Going away for awhile? Send a leader an email ingame or a PM here on these forums. If you come back to the game and find you have been kicked, get in touch with a leader from the SG through in game means or these forums and you will be let back in.
4. Remember you carry the SG name around with you and thus represent the SG. Please, don't go around cursing in arena chat or broadcast for no reason and other nonsense. This should be a given anyway.
5. Members of the leadership can have 2 active toons in the main SG section (Bane of Prometheus) all other members can only have 1 active toon in the main SG section. We have two Alt SG's (Legion of BoP & Notorious BoP) where alts can be placed. The Alt SG's have access to the main base. You are free to move toons between alt SG to main SG depending on which is more active at the moment. The Alt SG currently has no limiting factors for toons. If there is currently room in the main SG we will not be enforcing this rule in any kind of hardcore way.
Note: Alts of the leadership will not get leadership titles. Only their main toon will get the title.
6. You are expected to be in SG mode at all times until you are level 25 at least. There is no infamy penalty until level 25. We ask that you be in SG mode as much as possible even after level 25. Prestige and Salvage is what improves our base and you can only get these things while in SG mode.
7. Have fun and if you have a problem with the game or SG, get in touch with one of us leaders so that we might be able to solve the problem.
Other Notes:
--No one is forced to group but it is always good to group with other SG mates. I understand that some like to solo play but playing with SG mates makes the unit stronger and allows you to get to know other members.
--We will try to have weekly events. This is a good time to get to know your SG mates better and a good time to just have fun as an SG. Try to make these events if you can. They will be posted here in the events section and will be posted on the calendar.
--Currently the basic work benches are being left out for everyone. Please only craft components and no other items(defenses, control aux, etc) since it is not needed and you will only be wasting your salvage.
