Roleplay: We're "Roleplay Friendly". A couple of our members are very into roleplaying and are always in character. Some don't do it all. Most of us fall somewhere in the middle.

The Basic Pitch: the Galaxy Guardians are a roleplay friendly Supergroup on the Guardian Server. Our desire is to foster an amiable, engaging team atmosphere and to help enrich the City of Heroes experience game-wide: all while fighting crime and lookin' fancy. The Galaxy Guardians concept pays homage to the great ideas and ideals put forth by the writers DC Comics' 'Green Lantern' titles.
Restrictions: As we are an organized peace-keeping force, we have a required uniform.
We also have certain powerset/origin restrictions set forth by our founders waaaaay back in the Dim Ages (ie Beta) in an attempt to emulate the "feel" of the Green Lantern Corps. For example - we only have Energy blasters.

What to do if you like the concept but can't fit within the restrictions: We have an alternate SG just for alts of regular members or for heroes who are interested in allying with us - but who don't have a character that meets all the restrictions for member in the Galaxy Guardians. It's called the Guardian Academy and it's run by Guardian Asazi.
What's up with all the uniform and powerset requirements? Why can't you just be like everyone else? We get this question a lot. The simplest answer is: We wanted to do something unique. We wanted to create a team of heroes that was built around a very specific concept (ie - an homage to the Green Lantern Corps).

If they aren't already on the list we take them off again and a fun group may ensue. While this idea isn't all that new, most griefers never think that anyone will bother.
