    *smiles* I didn't write that.

    Can I be your second-fave?

Dead chick coming back to life and speaking to us? Hey, if you can pull that off, you can be whatever the hell you want.

Thank you for providing good tools to use (I guess a thanks to Zloth for making the launcher thing). But the biggest thanks I can give is a good link to the .net framework. God damn. I have never had it because any microsoft page has always confused the hell out of me.
  3. Synapse don't strike me as the brightest of the heroes. I'm betting Recluse just stuck his foot out.

There is no badge for Calvin Scott.

Ya, I guess there wouldn't be one would there. Seeing as really, it was supposed to be a kinda secret thing that the other heroes weren't supposed to know about. At least, that was the impression I got.
  5. Ah, I knew I had read something about that somewhere. I just didn't feel like digging through my comic collection for all the details.
  6. Doesn't Manticore say that he has messed with the same teleportation thing which allows hospitals to TP heroes around, which is how he is able to teleport himself?
  7. Good luck to your bro. Wish I had those kinda guts.

And hey, I like your snarky flippant responses. Makes me sure it's a human on your end and not a machine.
  8. I suppose I should publicly thank the Devs for making the game that finally dragged me away from Ultima Online. I hate what that game turned into, and I am loving what this game is becomming.

And what's most amazing is just how friendly the personalities of the Devs are.
  9. ...bump! I'm curious too.
  10. I really liked the sillyness of the blue king comics. And as somebody else pointed out, they were what you'd expect for being free. Though, I'm still trying to figure out what a level 15 is doing fighting Carnies. As for the top cow comics...

The storyline does feel VERY rushed. They've just lost their powers (BIG crisis) and it looks like in the next issue their gonna get them back (anti-climatic)? I just can't get a feel for the story here because every time I do, we skip to something else.

    As for the characters:
Manticore was ok. Seems like he has just the right amount of arrogance for a leader, and a willingness to lead when needed. So I enjoyed most of what I saw of him.

I loved Sister Psyche (when don't I). I thought she was written just the way you'd expect for somebody to abruptly lose her powers and gain an extra voice in her head to top it off. She seems to be feeling very vulnerable and looking for guidance.

Synapse was a little pissant, but again, understandable considering his past. Still, I think he coulda reacted a little better to people he calls friends. He seems to pick up a bit in the second comic.

Positron...well, dunno. He doesn't say or do a whole lot.

And finally, the big guy himself. Statesman. I just didn't like him. He seems to be acting like the biggest jerk to his teammates and friends and I really don't see why they still look up to him.

So, with the character synapsis done, I think I'm trying to say that I would like the comic if the story didn't seem so rushed and mixed up. And the whole god thing was expected with what little I knew of the COH backstory, though I wish that was never introduced to begin with.
  11. Name: Avatars

Motto: "A group so good we have our own badge!"

    Leader(s): Veto-Man and Faewyn

Player Type: Casual to Power Gamer

RolePlay?: Really depends on the player, but most don't.

    Membership levels: any

    SuperGroup Colours: Black and Blue

Normal time of Gameplay: Evenings for the most part, but there's almost always somebody on.

Other information: We try to maintain a friendly relationship within the group (crap does happen, but it usually doesn't last). We also place heavy emphasis on teaming with each other to keep everybody together. Otherwise, it's a very no-holds-barred, do what works for you type of group.

Recruiting?: We rarely recruit straight off the street. Usually we pick people we know or have teamed with before. Other instances might include enjoying somebody we are currently teamed with or met at a party of some sort.
