Other information - The Echelon / The Fallen Echelon is a multi-MMO gaming guild of over 5 years now, dabbling in MMOs including CoX. We are primarily professional adults using the games as an escape from the drudgery of the daily grind. Full featured site, in-game bases ready for raiding, dedicated TS server, etc. etc. But most importantly is we have a blast playing together all the time.

There aren't many things that I consider "griefing" in a PvP zone, but this is one of them. Reason being is that a player can be locked down FOREVER if they don't have TP or Fly to get out of the tower.
I've done it to friends in the SG with a tower in Steel Canyon on more than one occassion. But catch there is ... they're a friend. As such, they get out after a few chuckles are had and whatnot. In PvP, I can easily see a Stalker put a /Storm Controller in the tower to rot since there ain't much we can do against them...
Should be removed as a targetable location IMHO.

lol i was in warburg fighting and there was a team with 2 empaths....ummm yeah get a [censored] load of clear mind stacked on someone and they can see you like you dont even have stealth and hide on...it was like they were seeing me from halfway across the map...which leads to this...why dont they limit the amount of one buff someone can have on them at one time? i think it is truely sad when im teaming with 3 friends where 2 of them are empaths and they can stack so much CM on my other friend (around 24 clear minds at one time) that he was able to walk around normally while resting!!!

Hence why Emp/* Defenders or */Emp Controllers are Public Enemy Number One for any Stalker roaming the land. Nothing wrong IMHO with a particular power making our lives more difficult. Just need to work around it, or get some buddies to help divert attention away from you so you can AS. Remember...CM doesn't mean you can't assassinate, just makes it much more difficult to do so.

We are made up primarily of professional adults, many with families, and even quite a few husband/wife combos. We are as anti-power gaming as they come. We look forward to the 'fun', and not the proverbial 'next level'.

YGPM. Has happened to me multiple times, and I always jsut assumed this was the way it was designed. If not, well...I'm due a strong 200 reputation at least for what I've lost over the past week.

Most definately a CritBlade. Played one on Gawaine, and absolutely love it ... well 'till it got nerfed into oblivion and I took my leave of DAOC. I have great hopes that this will be the game that DAOC could have been.

Yet **AGAIN** the devs for the game come through in spades!
As a working man with a family of 5, and the co-Admin of a guild of similiar people, this is the only system that is managable. Everything I'm reading makes the CoV system a hybrid of DOAC RvR and SB GvG...and I LOVE IT. A reason to GvG...and the ability to fit it into your lives without being griefed by those...well without the same responsibilities.
