For the Ice Guide simply ready the Ice guides for blasters. Blaster Primaries are defender secondaries.

Anyone got a cold / ice after going from level 5 to 28 in a weekend, I was just throwing the powers on willy-nilly and have the worst slotting you can imagine. Some quick guidlines of what sucks and what doesnt would be nice.

I'm thinking about trying out a Dark/Dark defender. From what I gather, Dark/other or other/Dark can yield more optimal pairings, but I'm more interested in the thematics of Dark/Dark. I've seen Dark/ and /Dark guides from recent issues, but the last Dark/Dark I see was from I6.

Has much changed since I6 regarding the Dark sets, individually or synergistically? Or is the I6 guide from BlackestNight for Dark/Dark still pretty good?

The guide is still pretty good. The d/d corrupter guide is good too. Little changes between d/d defender and d/d corrupter. I've done about 4 different d/d toons. I just...can't...stop. But I'm trying. I've got a bubbler all the way to lvl 20 so far!

And you wouldn't believe how many times per play session that I press 4 to fearsome stare a group of mobs only to find I can no longer effect the outside world anymore.

AFAIK there are no up to date Kin/Energy guides, but Kossy and OtterCub have very good Kin/ Guides, my Emp/energy guide covers energy for a decent amount, and you can always check out the blaster forums for more Energy info

Hi,

Are there any Defender-specific Cold/Ice guides out there? I've got a Corruptor build that I'm moderately okay with, but when I try and flip it around to make a Defender, the whole thing falls to pieces. Any advice anyone's got to give would be greatly appreciated.

as it's the only defender guide that's been written since the last time I updated the guide list, I haven't seen a whole lot of need to do it (plus I've been super busy over the past few weeks)
