  1. Love the concept of comic loading screens, like the panels, though I agree with the comments about sister looking like a porn doll, and BaBs looking pale.

Beyond that, I think certain persons need to remember that Paragon Studios in all of its incarnations is a team. Castle did not "destroy" PvP any more than any one single person changed any other part of the game. You are free to dislike the changes (which I, personally, do to some extent), but there is no point in scapegoating him.

Lastly, I think those of us who know where to find him should respect his privacy and not make a big deal out of his current forum handle.
Knowing castle's respawned handle isnt a elite club people can belong to. (though he might like to make it a little hard/riddle like )

He knowingly disclosed his handle to the forum public. I'm sure he can handle his own privacy.
I say this out of respect, not from lack of it.

I'd imagine he has another one or many logins he hasnt disclosed to the public.

    From the Ustream notes:
"Posion has had a quasi-revamp with improvements to the set. Current design in beta is that Poison has Venom and Weaken having small AoE effects with half the effect of original that is on the base target. The heal has been buffed. Poison Trap has intial hold instead of initial sleep, and has a Recovery debuff."
    Poison buff - Yay

One cost will be much wailing of people whose SG moved servers and left them behind.
  6. Question about teaming for free to play players

Currently, afaik, trial players can not start teams. Will this change with Freedom?

I'd hate to see groups of new players around altas that couldnt form thier own team, while the VIP players were doing lvl 50 trials.

I didnt see mention of teams in the side by side comparsion, so I'm hoping that means no restriction. If it doesn't mean that, then I think you should include making teams in the side by side list.

    Question on RP

Do a global chat channel search for RP and/or role play.
To do a channel search, right click the channel window and select channel search. Then type RP or Role play in the field, and join that channel.

Sometimes you will need to send a tell to a mod to get unsilenced so you can speak. To find a mod, and other people of channel click on friends, and change from server/global to the name of the channel. You'll see a list of whose on, and ones with a star (i think its a star) are the mods.

In my experience, a filled out ID card is good when you have found other Role players, but meaningless for finding them. Though adding ((role play friendly)) can help.
Adding "ERP" means most people will think you are more interested in cyber than role playing characters.

I've found RP Virtue and Roleplayers to be good channels for organising RP teams.

As mentioned, the forums are good places to arrange RP SGs too.
  10. The new launcher works much better and faster for me. Cut down my downloads for new patches by a lot.

Most people do get that badge without reading the thread :/
  12. I've had too many never ending ambushes on that one to like it. I think once I fought every one in the rogue gallery.
Like the concept, but bleh, I've found it buggy.

    No, its a travel power.
  14. I'm expecting it to take over 12 months from the first looking into it before any redname confirmation that something is happening.

In ideal world, I would like to see 1 solostyle I arc for every 4 or 5 trials.

It would be great if the upcoming sig. arcs grant I rewards.

Plug your phone into your computer, it sets up as an Ethernet connection and voila! Free version doesn't work on https sites or for gaming. But the $10 paid version does.
Cool, will have to try it.

    Rubbish.

AE ARCs, flashback arcs with debuffs, the difficulty slider etc etc.

    Thats true.
  17. Only a few on my characters run nicely on x8. As such my shard rate is much lower than 3/hour. Mine is close to 1/hour.

There does need to be prelonged testing to the drop rate to really know how long. But getting enough in one week by shards alone would be either extremely lucky, or long play sessions.

Edit: I do some trials, not enough to be called grinding them. I'd prefer something better than the slow shard drop rate, as just getting the incarnate abilities was looking like a long long term goal for me, getting the more important shineys like auras will take me even longer. Takes me a long time to get a 50 too. Not really bothered by that

Days? Your posts are getting more and more laughable. Do you really know anyone claiming that they have used shards to get incarnated up in under a week using shards?

And comparing that to my other characters I did run through the trials, it was a great deal longer as it normally took me about 3-5 days to get fully slotted abilities running trials. But than again, I did run a lot of trials.
I'm going to assume you're running at x8 to get that many shards to drop, at a rate of more than one an hour.
I consider myself lucky to get a shard in 60-90 minutes at x4.

It is how insanely tedious this system is. And then on top of that they've thrown costumes, emotes and auras behind this wall of absolute, endless tedium.

    (snip)
I very much agree with above.
