I absolutely love the "One Good Spider" Morality Mission
Yeah - it's totally badass swooping into the heart of Grandville like that saving him - it must make Recluse rage

My favorite part of that mission is when the citizens shout my name as I stand in front of them and do the "Loyalty: Hero" emote!

My favorite part is tearing apart Lord Recluse's Arbiters like they're common mooks. Oh wait, THEY ARE NOW!

Two thumb's-up for the Good Spider morality mish! Which is worlds-away better than that boring Silent Blade thing.
Give the writer of that one a raise. But give whoever came up with that Keye's Island mess a demotion. If its the same person I guess those two things cancel each other out.

I've had too many never ending ambushes on that one to like it. I think once I fought every one in the rogue gallery.
Like the concept, but bleh, I've found it buggy.
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.
So sad to be ending ):
That morality mission was a ton of fun. Would play moar!

It's nicely written, but as someone who has earned several PvP recipes (30 merits each) by running a morality mission every other day, I much prefer the one that I can do quickly. That's not the "One God Spider" mission, so I skip that one every time now. ^_^

Hated it, way too tedious.

I dunno, story writing wise I'd say Keyes is cool. Plus I gotta give Keyes props for being man enough to take on up to eighteen PCs on his own when all the others need to keep calling in backup.

I really felt sorry for the leader as every one scrambled about trying to do his bidding. But call the Keyes Trial a great bit of writing.... uh, no
saying it's cool doesn't mean they're implying it's great

I won't lie, when I do a Morality mission solo, I skip it and do the other one for expediency, but I enjoy doing the "One Good Spider" in teams with my SG mates for the xp, drops and stuff. That doesn't make the "Unusual Suspect" a superior mission, just a more efficient one. I actually like the other one more... story wise. However, that's not what I look for when I'm soloing tips for the umpteenth time. I'm truly happy there's an option.
It is, between the two; in every way, the best written and played out mission, story wise. It deserves the praise
Again, the option between expediency and story driven is a good choice on each of those merits.
EDIT: Pardon the pun...

I couldn't agree more.
I'm really fond of 'One Good Spider'... It's a heck of a lot of fun if you're just doing a morality mission for fun instead of rushing to finish and get your merit.
I particularly love running it with Shade in Shadow, who started out as a Responsibility Loyalist in Praetoria. Those three Arbiters? They're the same three chumps she beat the snot out of way-back-when at level 20, when they had the nerve to try to blow up her poor, over-worked friend Raymond's reactors. It's always a very "Oh, hi there. Remember me? No? *crunch* How about now?" sort-of thing.
I chuckled the first time I saw them come up again.
Their situation really hasn't improved since Neutropolis...

i enjoy it as well. it carries the heroic them very well, not only because of the arbieters, the supposedly untouchable judges of recluse's realm, but then they throw three big bads at you, and in front of everyone you just keep stomping them into the ground. its like with each one you deflate recluse's bravado that much more. basically, its your "big damn hero" moment.
Thus far i have only ran it with my rad/rad/energy, i was concerned that she isnt exactly a soloing machine, but since they come in single file, some radiation softened them up nice and agreeably. cant wait to obliterate it with rian.
but yeah, as ego boosts go, its basically going into your enemies house and humiliating him, and the best part is watching the crowd cheering you (my only complaint, they stay silent, one suggestion i have is have them taunt you initially, then after each of the 3 that you stomp, they get conflicted and eventually are cheering you, that's the only set piece that would make it more epic.)
I _love_ this mission, it is a fantastic example of good use of theme, pacing, obstacles and really has that "lv 50" feel.
I would love to see a bevvy of missions based on this theme (Much like the Safeguard missions)
For me all you'd need to do are:
1. Mix up the spawns, (Maybe Black Scorpion is overseeing the execution, and most of the troops are his)
2. Mix up the Villains (Have some more-epic ones that pop out Lt sidekicks maybe even The Lts themselves, An EB version of the flyer)
3. Mix up who you are rescuing (Longbow, One of the Morality-hero roster, How about one where the report is that Arachnos have are going to execute you and its just someone who was inspired by you to do good)
4. Mix up what you have to do to free them (Forcefields, Magic, Psionics)
5. Mix up the ambushes (How about some properly port in, or drop in from above)
I would happily run those over and over.
As long as the mission creation tools are up to snuff that should be pretty easy.
I agree, a nice Morality mission indeed I look forward to getting a melee toon in there to beat up Arachnos' forces
Also, can't we please stay out of the hating of the Incarnate system? It's already being discussed into death in many other threads

This is by far my favourite morality mission I take it every opportunity I can. And I've submitted in-game feedback to this effect, which I hope made it to somebody!
It might, in fact, be my favourite mission in the whole game.
My only criticism would be that the first time I did it, it was not at all clear where these Fortunatas were lurking.
I've had too many never ending ambushes on that one to like it. I think once I fought every one in the rogue gallery.

And I agree with the others. This is one of my favorite morality missions. However, like some others, if I am just wanting to get it over and done with, I will take the other mission instead. I've even abandoned the One Good Spider Mission after a few kills and the other mission suddenly dropping for me.
Another favorite of mine is Crossing the Line. But that is only because I enjoy chain detonating those 'splodies (from a safe distance of course), especially that set in that last hallway before the big room where Doc Quantum spawns.
I liked the mission the first two times I ran it, but I vastly prefer The Unusual Suspect since it can be finished more quickly.
Story stops mattering when you run the mission every two days and have it all memorized.

I agree that the One Good Spider mission is great, if an extended knock-down-drag-out fight and giving Recluse the [obscene gesture] is what you're in the mood for. I understand some people just want to collect their A-Merit and get out. That'd be what Silent Blade and your (usually pathetic) doppleganger are for.
