My favorite X-Man of all time. Ol' Kurt was number one till I fell under the spell of power armor.

Yes and try it on some waffles along with some chicken gravy, speaking of sweet stuff and the holidays, I like to make a cranberry sauce with italian meatballs.

    The recipe is pretty basic;

    A) 3 cans of cranberry sauce (I like to use 2 cans of whole cranberry sauce and 1 can of the jellied sauce)

    B) 3 bottles of Hienz chilli sauce

    C) 1/3 cup of lemon juice

    D) 1 tablespoon of brown sugar

    E) 50-60 italian meatballs (I've never really counted since I just spread a layer of meatballs on a cookie sheet)

Note: My brother has also added pineapple juice and chunks instead of lemon juice and I typically add a bit of beef stock as well.

Heat the components until everything is disolved but do not bring to a boil. In the mean time brown the meatballs in the oven (per the manufacturers directions). Once the meatballs are done, you have two options, either mix both in a crockpot and let simmer for a coupla hours or mix and place in the oven @ 350F for 30 minutes.

I've never tried it, but I've talked to people who have substituted the cranberry sauce with grape jelly.

Also I find I get the best results using Costco Wholesale's Kirkland brand meatballs.

  7. Enjoyed in very much and very much looking forward to the next movie.

My only complaint (well not really a complaint) , it did seem sorta like the LOTR movies.

Check any AT forum and you'll likely find a post akin to "Any got a build for an x/y?" without any guidance to what they player hopes to achieve with said build.

This irks me for a few reasons:

First, it smacks of laziness. Creating a build with Mid's is a reasonably simple thing. Posting without one suggests that you haven't consider power selections, sets, or even an over all goal. Put some effort into it if you expect others to put effort into helping you.

Secondly, requesting builds generally eschews all conceptual considerations. If I've decided to create a build there are still some powers I'd like simply for thematic reasons. I, for example, like to have Flight for magical characters. Eventually, you may butt against the problem of performance vs. concept, but to me it's disheartening to see people throw concept out from the get-go.

Finally, there is the difficulty of offering advice to these individuals. Those that would help are face with a blank slate. Do you want an AoE damage machine? Do you want a strong team support character? An AV solo'er? There are many ways to build a character in this game, even using a single AT with the same primary and secondary. Do you want top performance or do you hope to incorporate some conceptual powers into the build? What is your budget? It's like asking "How to I go to China?" We need to know where you're beginning, how you want to travel, and how much you can spend on the trip.

So, please, I implore anyone that plans to request a build. Put some effort and some thought into what you want before making a blanket request. You'll find people more receptive if you give them something to work with.
All of this smacks of a min/maxer or power gamer or what-have-you. Not that its invalid in any sort of way, but usually folks just looking to copycat the most successful build for whatever they are doing are in it to dominate whatever aspect they are interested in. Thematically correct concept builds are irrelavent in this case.
  9. I'd take weather effects just to add to the ambience of the game as well, however I dont think it should interfere (hoever neat it would be) with the characters abilities.
  10. Is Hollywood capable of doing anything original anymore beyond a few superhero movies? Its not that I cant enjoy the remakes, but jeez, thats all you ever see anymore.

A victim of Drizzt's popularity I suppose. There are alot of people who really reallt hate Drizzt, the drow and Bob Salvatore.

Personally I liked the Icewind Dale Trilogy and liked the Dark Elf Trilogy even more, after that it seemed like RA burned himself out on the character and I stopped reading about Drizzts exploits not long after. I think the last book I bought that concerned Drizzt was neat hardbound deal that gave alot of background info on Faerun as it concerned Drizzt for people who haven't played D&D or dabbled in other worlds.
  12. I'd almost rather they did change the old guard, at least in Marvel from Wolverines ridicously stupid regeneration to his lupine origin - when I was into comics, he couldn't regen neural damage and his claws were biomimetic constructs and it was infered that they had flayed Logan and pinned adamantium strips to his bones, and just recently I've read where Iron Man completely stores his armor in his body and when he "dons" his armor, nanobots construct it around him (this being an evolution of the extremis crap), blech...

Yes, size has its advantages, especially when you embellish on it by leaving your intials via knuckleprints in the roof of the cheesebox, or throwing a washing machine into a deep ditch, or rip a stop sign out of the ground and throw it at the drunken rednecks in a mulletmobile or rip a chain out of a tree with your neck or lift the back wheels of a chevette off the ground. Sigh... I miss my youth

  15. As I understand it, the new NWN is more of a co-op rather than a true MMO. I'll check it out in any event.

  22. Oh daygonit (who knew a reboot would solve my issues) but back when you were wide open on the character's appearence, this crossed my mind based on a character I call Fated Ancient.

Maybe it will help somebody out???
  23. I got it, its sorta a Pen & Card game, the cards represent random tech and random mutations. Also instead of a nuke based apocolypse, The Hadron Collider screwed the pooch this time out. Definetly not your granddad's gamma world.
  24. Damn, I really wanted to post something earlier, but my frigg'n computer is really pissing me off today when it comes to the flash player (and photobucket seems to use this for its pic uploader) grrrr........

I had a werewolf decked out with the praetorian police chest piece and the valkyrie shoulder pads (the basic ones).
