The Mechanic remake with Statham

I said it before but it bears repeating: Statham is the premiere action hero on the planet.
Try as I might, I can't recall the original. I think this may be one of the few films I've never seen. 0.0

Is Hollywood capable of doing anything original anymore beyond a few superhero movies? Its not that I cant enjoy the remakes, but jeez, thats all you ever see anymore.

In my opinion, their best option is to take established stories, and write something around it and depending on it's execution, can actually be good. Though they do take some risks regardless.

A movie about a hitman getting revenge and training a new guy. Can you even call that a remake? It's an action movie, you're not watching it for original concept and awe-inspiring acting. You're watching it to see **** blow up and people die.
