Can or Will? This is an MMO about comic super heroes. You don't get fat superheroes or muscular female ones. The options provided cover all aspects covered for the genre that the game is intended for.

okay, so maybe not every aspect of the multitude physical aspects of characters in superhero comics is covered.

personally I don't see the need to go as fat as Blob, but it'd be good to be able to give some a bit of a belly or double-chin. costume pieces would probably best for this. maybe a sumo suit added to the boxer clothes vet reward?

same with Archers and the majority of weapon unlocking badges. nothing for rikti badges, no nictus bow, etc.

more than 30 seconds to log in and log out again and log back in as another toon. not loads more (usually), but certainly would be easier

I got the GvsE edition, but probably would have paid for those extras anyway. Wedding pack was a must for at least one of my toons concepts. Cyborg pack, similarly. The Mac users getting extra stuff I don't see as any different from the Collectors Editions of the game, or the pre-order Arachnos helms and Sprint powers. Except we're getting the opportunity to buy the new stuff.

So long as it doesn't end up with being able to buy significant advantages over other players, I don't mind. I won't get the jetpack because it's not permanent. I don't want to raise my subscription price every month. But a one-off, optional purchase is fine.

In comparison to other MMOs, COH is a heck of a lot better in that respect, despite the exclusive stuff to some players. I don't have to buy an expansion to keep up with the lvl cap or access new zones. Granted I've come into the game as the chargeable stuff has been starting, so I've not been as used to getting everything for free, but when I look back at how much has come the players way with no charge, it's pretty darn good.

I get the occassional bit of lag, freezing whatever, as appears to be quite common on Union, but 90% of the time when I go to WW and try to check my auctions, the game freezes.

First time I'm accessing it, or if it's been a good long while, I might get the window come up, with none of my stuff listed down the bottom. That's sorted by closing the window and trying again. Usually a lot quicker the 2nd time and all my info is there.

Sometimes though, the game not only freezes, but my pc does too (usually if it's just being slow I can hit my windows key and view other programs I might have open, normally only have Firefox or maybe Windows Media Player on) and then, it comes up with the normal WW window, but I get the Lost Connection to Mapserver message and have to quit to log in screen to get going again.

It's getting a real pain. The other lag problems are nothing new and nothing that uncommon from what I can tell speaking to others, but this seems to be a different issue. Is it my pc? I've 1.5 gig of RAM, Win XP, RADEON 9800 PRO and AMD Athlon 64 ( I don't know if you need to know more than that, that's what I know about)

any advice?

weakened barriers between dimensions? cause i don't see a lot of graves that they're rising from. they come from the ground and yet there's no holes. is all our time travel and portal jumping threatening the multiverse itself?

ok, sure, purposely dragging a mob towards someone isn't on. and doing it again and again is being a dick. i wouldn't do that and would expect action to be taken if i did.

saying that clicking and running is against the rules is crazy.
there's nothing on the Halloween Event post on the main page of the site to indicate you must fight the mobs you spawn. In fact, there are probably ways that the devs can make it so you have to do just that.
the way the game works allows you to click and run and get a whole convoy of beasties at your tail chasing you through the streets and right into other players.

of course, it's rude as hell, and i'd like to think that most of us wouldn't do it, but there's nothing i see in the EULA that says you can't do it.

i've been a victim to this myself and it's annoying, but i've also clicked a few doors and ran myself. when i did it i did run towards some nice purple police drones mind you, or earlier today i clicked a couple doors next to a full team whom i'd helped clear up a previous mob. i ran but i'm sure that 8 characters could handle my single toon's mob a heck of a lot better than he could (ta/a defenders are not really designed with ToT-or any kind of solo play for that matter-in mind)

so-is it a crappy thing to do? yes
is it against the rules? no

Damz, Mothers Love and Dustified all get my vote.
There's a few others I see around Atlas regularly whose presence is always welcome.
Scotland's Bru is another one I always notice when he's around. (Cheers for helping Tin Man get his Eochai badge in SC the other day too)
I don't know who else to say, cause a)I don't know how active everyone is on the forums, or their globals and b)I know I'll forget someone important.

Plenty of great characters on Union though and this Union Legends TF idea sounds like great fun.

Atlas might be a good place for the EB badge, as there's usually a few 50s about and I got it with a lvl 5 toon pretty much straight away.

good news. sounds like we're getting most of the stuff we suspected, plus a few of the things me moaned about not getting originally

...and the new mayor of Paragon City is...

so we should start logging out at the places we don't know about yet?
