    Synapse TF Bug

    Synapse has bugged for me 3 out of the last 4 times I've attempted it. What's worse is that it is always on the last defeat all (the one in the abandoned office map). 2 times it was the case where there was one invisible enemy left. We contacted GM but I didn't hear back until 2 hours later and the TF had disbanded by then. The other time, we kept on having the same mission repeat over and over. We repeated it twice before contacting the GM, then he had us try it again and it worked.

    Very frustrating.

    Honestly, just make a Spider and close this thread.

    A team of spiders is the most ridiculous thing you'll see in this game. Recently creating a Spider has inspired me to make a blueside Leadership-based SG. Once I19 hits and Fitness is out of the picture, I think you'll begin to see a lot more Assault, thankfully.

  5. My friend and I rolled some Spiders on Sunday. We've been steam-rolling the past few days and are sitting at level 34. This AT is really the AT I've always wanted, (heavy on leadership, but still dishing out great damage). Considering a main part of its success is the leadership stacking, we were thinking of ways to team up with more Spiders which is the reason behind my inquiry.

    I'm assuming there's at least a few on redside, but does anyone know of any blueside Spider/Widow focused Supergroups? If there isn't I would like to begin to form one. If there are some redside ones on Virtue, what are the names?

    Yes, but as Posi stressed at the panel, I19 will not be the entire full blown incarnate system. I19 will introduce the Task Force to introduce the incarnate system and the Alpha Slot. These will be the first step in to the entire system which will essentially be released in phases down the road.

    So just so you're prepared, when I19 lands, you do your task force, get your alpha slot, you're probably going to think 'That's it?!". Well at that time, yes, that will be it, but there is more coming.

  9. I've read this complaint many times, but honestly never understood it. In practice, HoB still does a significant amount of damage for being a crashless nuke.
  10. My friend and I are going to make Energy/Energy blasters when we get our Praetorian PPD Hardsuits next week at the meet and greet.

  15. I'll have to /bug this too. The more you play kin stalker, the more you realize how annoying that extra activation time on BU is. I really see no justification for this.

    As others mentioned, sounds like they just ported Power Siphon's cast time accidentally.

    I have FF proc slotted in my DP's Bullet Rain and Empty Clips AoEs. It triggers fairly often so I'm pretty certain that it makes a check on every affected target. If Burst accepted KB enhancements then it would also make a check against every affected target.

    According to Mids, Burst accepts Stun enhancements (not sets, just standard IOs)? This must be a mistake considering Burst does KB and not Stun. This will probably be fixed in the future.
  17. I agree. I'm playing an elec dom and I feel that Static Field and Conductive Aura's graphics can be pretty distracting. What I did was use the Bright Elec option and made one of the colors a very dark color. This really helps in making the effect a lot less obtrusive.

    I think I would've preferred these powers to look a bit more like Lightning Field from Elec Manipulation, but I guess that's a different conversation altogether.
  18. I'm sorry if this has been asked, but I can't seem to find it anywhere -

    I haven't picked up Synaptic Overload on my elec dom but I imagine it works similar to Jolting Chain in that it provides a 'jump effect' off the main target. In this case, how would the Contagious Confusion proc work in this power? Does it do a contagious check on each hop or just off the main target?

  19. I love Jolting Chain. It's a quick recharge/quick animating/high range/pseudo-aoe knockdown. I'm running an elec/energy and with JC, Power Push, and other blasts I can keep hard targets juggled, completely nullifying any threat they pose to the team.
  20. Boost Range will not increase HoB's range but it will increase the range of every other attack in your primary, so I don't see that as a bad thing really.

    I have a 50 DP/EM and I took Power Thrust, Boost Range, and Total Focus from EM. Considering DP is a weapon set, you're going to want to use your secondary as little as possible to avoid redraw. With Hasten, some recharge slotting, and the Force Feedback proc in Bullet Rain and Empty Clips, your attacks will be recharging really fast so you're constantly attacking. With Boost Range, you are free to not worry about 'out of range' because you most likely will not. Also, Empy Clips becomes much more effective since you have a longer cone now.

    Anything that decides to take the time to run 100+ feet to reach me will be met with a Power Thrust or a Total Focus to the face.

    To compensate for HoB being a pbaoe attack, I run my DP/EM as a Hover/Teleporter so whenever my HoB recharges I can port in to a mob, fire off HoB, port back out to my ideal firing range and continue the lead barrage.

    As mentioned earlier, one of DP's strengths is that it accepts many different sets which means you can load up on a lot of procs. Each of my attacks has at least 2 procs loaded in and the rest slotted with dmg/acc/recharge to taste.

    It's a really fun combination if you figure out how to make it work.

  22. I think they look okay. I wish the last demon was a big larger or more unique looking, personally. I really wish they would do something about all the moaning and yelling that they do when idle.

    It used to be bad enough when DS MMs would stand at the Black Market with all their demons yelling, but now they stand around under Atlas doing the same thing.
  23. I got a Praetorian Thugs MM to Paragon on Virtue today. Him and his thugs are an undercover gang unit working for PPD.

    Agreed. I took Rise of the Phoenix from the fire epic on my blaster and I look forward to dying now. Slotted with damage, RotP really dishes out some pain.
