No I am not sick of the power, lol, in fact I love it and use it a lot.

Several teams I have been on have had players that complained that the flashing of the power animation was making them feel sick. On three occasions specifically I had players using melee power sets complain to me about it. I duo'd with one of those players and did some testing. It seems that the flashing that accompanies the vertical electric discharge is the culprit causing these issues. I tried darkening the power colors and using less eye bleeding colors as well and my fellow tester said it helped very little.

Typically I am looking at my targeting reticle and my powers tray more than what is animating on my screen but after watching it flash directly for a few moments i can see what these players might be experiencing. I wasn't getting sick but it did become quite intense after a few seconds of watching directly. Of course these melee players were right up close on the animation and facing it most of the time.

I am starting to wonder if we might have something similar to the issues of the old sonic shield animations. I certainly hope not. I am hoping a dev will notice this and a discussion will take place on the other side of the drawing board. I personally don't have a problem with the power animation but hate to think that I may be causing some kind of virtigo when I use it on a team.

Has anyone else noticed this or had it mentioned to them or do I just attract the visually sensitive players to my teams?
