My main is a Plant/Thorn Dom, and I rarely see Thorns - but it is a beautiful secondary. I 3 slot the -Def on the Thorns powers and everything -melts-

We need to promote someone from within the Freedom Phalanx to be the new leader, but that will still leave a hole to be filled. We have plans to fill that hole with a character submitted by a community member in a contest. We did this prior to launch and picked Numina to be one of the Surviving Eight, and we'd love to do this sort of thing again. We'll have more details on that in the coming months, but suffice it to say that your character has a chance at making into the official game lore as a member of Paragon City's signature supergroup.

I, personally, have seen more States-hate than States-love ingame. -
These are a few of my favorite things:
- I love that it is a large scale challenge that requires more than a team of 8
- I have yet to get bored with any of them
- As much as you know the procedures like the back of your hand, no two runs are ever the same.
- Knowing that while some of my toons suck on regular content they can really shine on some of these Trials
- That I won't have to deal with Anti-Trial people while running a Trial
- That there is always at least one league on Virtue running all the trials over and over and over that I can just jump into at some point
- The Underground Trial - the story, the battle, the AMAZING ARTWORK, and the adrenaline rush of if we can or can't make that final battle.
- Very Rare drops
- Everytime a Vicki MKIV drops
- I find them immensely enjoyable
- That other people find them a challenge and wish to do them with me
- That my Interface Incarnate Power really shines during those large additional mob parts of BAF
- Did I mention the artwork on The Underground Trial?
- THE ARTWORK ON THE UNDERGROUND TRIAL
- The spore snow in UG
- That the TPN Incarnate Trial is the only I've still yet to do successfully
- ...and moar.

This game has too much story to finish up and too much in it currently to launch a 2.0
Imagine starting CoH 2.0 with the amount of content that CoH had when it launched in 2004. Think about it.
Yes, dividing the playerbase/community would be bad.
If ever it were to happen, considering this is a Superhero MMO - the universe would have to fail, collapse, and be "rebooted" with most of what we know retconned out of existence So, I'd imagine in that scenario, CoH 1.0 would have to shut down for CoH 2.0 to launch.
