    The only case the controller would need BF's imho is versus MA or maybe spines in case he has no CJ or a fear pool or a DM scrapper.The scrapper is at a disadvantage against a controller most times.Even with full tray of bf's

    i fought a ss/ea brute the other day in warburg with my ill/kin
    my troller is fully slotted with HOs (except super invis which has a set)
    i have hasten siphon speed and never managed to hold the brute once a regen with bfs and his mez protection how many holds stacked would you need?

    Oops, guess I misread that. Do you mean he used BFs too, on top of his mez protection?
    I don't know how strong a BF is, but your hold is mag 3, and a brute has 10,4 mag resistance. It should take you 5 seconds to launch a hold, and 36,3 seconds duration on each... That makes 7 holds. So the BF protects from atleast 10,6. Guessing 15.
    5 holds for a BF. 9 for a BF+brute mez resistance.


    Did that make any sense?

    IIRC the flag resets to "Not looking" when you log in, and not many remember to change it. Unless you were referring to your search comment.

    Grav/ is only -speed, not -recharge.
    When in domination you have to use maybe 2-3 BFs to get out of the holds (provided that you're a scrapper/tank, rest get mezzed instantly)

    Exactly. I think it was Castle who explained that the weapon-draw animation was fully compensated for by a faster attack animation following. So, you could switch between weapon attack and unarmed attack all night long and still attack just as fast as anybody else. Well, it would look kinda stupid though.

  16. It's impossible to get elude with less recharge than 333 seconds, due to recharge capping at 300%. (If I understand that correctly)
    Also, the recharge starts after the cast time, which some call activation.
  17. When I'm looking for a defender for my team, I usually don't care which primary they have. I mean, they all help.
    And in higher levels, Empaths are more about the buffs than healing for me.

    Actually, IIRC you need 3-4 applications (from different people) to be able to cage ONE, and that's not perma.
