Ahhh screw defiance lol vigilance needs work on :P Us poor defenders get a hardly noticeable end redux which I've never found useful :P

I like defiance... I actually think that it works really well as is.

Give the Blaster better ++'s to damage earlier. It's simple really... atleast test it on Training Room to see how it works. If anything the humble blaster needs a good inherant power to balance out their squishiness, and at the moment, all their power does is to make them more squishy if you want to try to use it.
It takes Chaos to move the world to Action.
The 800% bonus (or whatever ) is a bit high...then half it, but double rate it builds up.
I've got a 36 blaster and a lev 23 blaster. Only once have I thought "wow, defiance was useful!"
So i play my brute, i smile each time i smack out a power with full fury. So i play my dominator, how lovely to see that power going when you popit. So i play my MM, bodyguard makes me tanker-style. So i play my controller, double dmg ftw!
So i play my blaster, i scold defenders to stop healing me, i yell at tankers to stop taking 100% agro. I even order scrappers and trollers to stop attacking at all! Then when i finaly have a superhigh defiance, i start my shoot animation (yes, quite some have long animations) and die. They mock me.

Maybe the Ice primary is just exceptionally nice with defiance then. Cause I've not encountered the animation lock of death with my Ice/fire
Obviously playing defiance with an Archer doesn't work though so I dont bother

Definitely.
As my Archer is also the same secondary as yours I can see we've hit the same issues

Every other inherent power I can see working, but my age old blaster's Defiance? Utter pants.
The blaster needs an inherent power change, it just does not function anywhere near as well as the other inherents.
