Hi ShadowGhost I will put a few thoughts down.
Played for 4'ish months now and inherited the base/sg from a player who dissapeared.
SG has about 30 members, a lot of alt's.
Base is non PVP.
I use it for telepads/storage/temp buff making/recipe creating.
It's the one up from the small free one.
Favourite room is the workshop.
Designed it myself after days of head scratching and frustration learning the base builder.
Gets a redesign when we have enough prestige to add something more.
Still missing a couple of telepads and one of those thingy's you can buy blues and greens from.
Ideal base would have all the telepads most often used, room for members to display there personal objects, essentials such as inspi storage/enhancement storage/buff generators/medi bay etc. And please please a recipe storage place....(but this may upset the recipe balance in game so doubt it would happen).
I could then turn it into a wish list for bases but that would be another topic so i would just say for another question.....

Missing: Vet Reward Filer, Dimensional Vortex, a bigger Control room
Base Idea: Need alot more Arcane and some room objects need improvements, maybe more then one level

The smallest rent-free plot.
Several rooms, multi functional for the operational base.

Control Room + library and office (arcane ftw )
Medic bay + apartment

On Villains, it's the Oversight room that's solly the apartment for my main on that side.

Heroes side, there've been about 4 major changes in design. The final one being the change from RP base to fully functional PvE base with RP multifunctionality.
Other then that, it's usually just additions.

Well... a more homey feel to it, less fudging with other things to make a kitchen, bathroom and such.
Also, with the small size of the SG (Me, my alts and some of friends alts) the tree of life is one of the things I'd like to add.

2: It's quite big, but not as big as you'd expect.
3: Its got to be the TP room. The most handy room ever.

Had a bit of help with the style at first, as there is so much variety its hard to decide. But I do it all by myself now. I enjoy it a lot and find base building quite relaxing.

Was changed from just Arcane to a Arcane/Sewer look about 3 months ago. Might change a lot over the years, maybe when we upgrade the plot. Mostly rearranged to fit in more rooms/items. If there is a new zone with beacon next issue we're screwed for space.

Still need inspiration/enhancement storage and more control if we every need another teleporter. And them temp power enhancement tables or whatever they are.

Your base is possibly the best Tech stile base I have seen, and the biggest. The Dagger Boys Arcane base was huge, looked awesome too. Me and the currant only active player in it are hoping the leader will show his face soon (
) so we can rebuild the base, as the rent is a bit steep for 1 player to earn.

Mainly for teleport. Its really handy when you are on the middle of anywhere and want to move fast to next zone. Now with the the new tree of wonders (Auto-doc arcane equivalent) I'll it use to sell those recipes you don't need (recharge, damage and the like)

Small Avaliable plot (8%8), the one with no rent.

I really like how our teleports rooms are placed, we got a small corridor near entrance that makes it for a fast travel.
Second favourite one is the 2nd workshop, we got a table and a small trophy room in there. Perfect for meetings!

The first build was done by the old leader, then when he decided to spend his free time on WoW I taked it over and using his basic template I expanded it, to fit new rooms.

Not much, I would like to be ready for Cathedral of pain if that ever becomes avaliable. Aiming next for Orbits of control (new control generator). That we may get this month

He will get auto demoted after however long the auto demote is set for mate, so hang on in there

The conference room in our Teras Thanatos base (Zukunft villains) with banners, trophies, a mission computer and a whole frickin' control centre right above the conference table, everything in dark-coloured metal, red and black and illuminated by eery red light. It's pure beauty and tells even the most naive person that this is not the meeting room of the local welfare club.

This varies for the six bases. Teras Thanatos has anything but PvP equipment (which won't be needed in the forseeable future) while other bases still need a lot of work (and prestige) or have only basic equipment for invention and salvage crafting and storage.

Well, "describe" would be saying too much, but I think the Teras Thanatos fits my image of the ideal base just fine. It's style reflects the SG's spirit and creates a 'believable' villain-base environment, the layout is well thought out with objects placed efficiently and ways as short as possible given the size of the base and it is lacking nothing... at least nothing that's in the game yet.

Crafting, often but not always. When crafting lots i tend to use the base workbench since its next to vault.
Meeting other SG members, whenever i need to set up a meeting (for trade, look at my new boots, have a chat or whatever) i always have it in the base.
Picking up insp, transfering enhancements between alts.
