stun resist possible?
Bring breakfrees or team with a brute, mastermind to take agro (reduces stun attacks aimed at you) or another player with grantable status protection (thermal, sonic, kin corr, FF masterminds or anything with stimulant)
thePhilosopher Martial Arts/Regen/Fire Scrapper
theRegulator Empathy/Energy/Soul Defender
Total Inertia Ice Blast/Kinetics/Psy Corruptor
Total Inferno Ice Blast/Thermal/Leviathan Corruptor
Kill them before they stun you, stun the stunner (beanbag or something for AR aint it?, break free's or team.
I solo all the time on my Ice/Cold and usually open fight by holding the nasty mob so it wont hold/stun/fear me.
Also dont AR have alot of Knockback powers? Knockback is a great damage mitigation solo.

Fixed.
On my AR/Kin I fould beanbag highly useful against nullifiers and such if you're soloing, same goes for all the other minions and lts (excluding fortunatas).
Also I sometimes use the end drain just because I can, while beanbag is recharging.
And yeah you can basicly carry few Bfs around, but on my case I simply didn't because I couldn't be arsed or simply forgot them.
Don't know about the knockback, m30 grenade seems to have the highest %, but it's not saying much when half of the time it doesn't knockback.
As for the stun resistance IO's, they don't do jacks [censored]. I wouldn't recommend them.
You can also slot IOs which give you mez resistance like Aegis (20% unique) or Impervious skin (7.5% each). You just need to find slots in powers which take resistance IO sets (like Increase Density). This will only shorten the duration of mezzes though, not prevent them (and you'll need quite a bit to notice a difference).
And k-back is [censored] damage mitigation for a kin.

/sonic corrs get stun protection in sonic dispersion.
Sonic buffs cannot be casted on yourself.
However trap cors do get stun protection that they can cast on themselves. But then again traps are bit snore.

Erm... sonic dispersion is a nice PBAoE bubble, even better then the FFG from traps imo.
Aid Self includes 1 minute of stun mitigation - not very strong and a pain to use.
The aid self stun resist is indeed very weak, but makes a world of difference vs. things like nullifiers - essentially cuts a sizable portion out of the time you need to stand wobbling around.

Sonic dispersion is a toggle which can be dropped by attacks,FFG is not so it gives protection even if you are held, etc.

And of course the enemy can't do anything to the FFG.. Besides same attacks that would detoggle thru sonic dispersion will do so and mez through FFG dispersion bubble as well. I did forget to mention traps as well in my earlier post though so sorry about that.
Well, to get back on topic:
For a AR/kinetic corruptor I would follow the advice of Phil and Enkill. Kill or mezz stunners asap and carry some breakfrees for cases of emergency.
If this won't work in a certain mission there is one more advice that could help: Don't go alone. You don't necessarily need a tank, but getting stunned when you are the only team member is always worse than getting stunned when the rest of the team can take care of your problem and/or the mob. However, some mob groups require more breakfrees than others (regardless of teamed or solo), but fortunately Stun-o-rama (aka the Malta Group) is still some levels away.

If it has eyes, you can blind it, if it has blood, you can make it bleed, if it has a mouth, you can make it scream.

I'm glad it does. Personally, I prefer other forms which don't involve foes getting knocked around when you need Transfusion or Transference to hit

I just don't knock those particular targets back. A bit of common sense goes a long way

My view on this is that you can pair an attack set with KB and /kin, although I have personally never done so (but mainly for unrelated reasons: I hate the look of Energy Blast and AR has long rooting animations that don't fit into my kinetic playstyle). However, there are often problems when you play a /kin and someone else does the knockback.

Yep, but someone else isn't playing my Kin/Energy or Energy/Kin Other people's KB can be annoying, but it shouldn't be a problem for most players to control their own KB.

Well in my book, if I want to play a kin, and want damage mitigation, I don't think 'hey, I need some k-back powers'. Holds? Yes. Stuns? Yes. Sleeps? Yes. Even immobs or -tht. Of course, that doesn't mean you can't play the sets together, just that the synergy is not particularly good.

currently playing assault / kin cor, lvl 28, love(d) it untill i moved to nerva where every 2nd mob seems to have some sort of stun stile and is causing me more debt than i care to admit at the mo
so how can cors get stun resist if they even can? coz i got pasted by 2 white minions chain stunning me to hell and back, full hp bar to face plant and i couldnt stop em. short of carrying around racks of breakie insps i cant seem to find a way.
i do have a few defensive powers coz with kin i'm gonna get hit in melee when trying to heal, but when a 1 second stun removes all those it can be very frustrating, so any help would be apreciated, and pls dont say reroll coz i like the toon, just not where the game is going the higher i get up.
thanks in advance
