Yet in here - no.

At least this back should have included a choice of which existing costume pieces we could get. The vanguard stuff is ugly and easy to get. Would have been better if it was the Roman stuff, since some of us 3 am people who have no one to group with will never get our hands on it. Or like I said a choice per account , example: Roman, Vanguard, whatever else junk, i forget now. Would have been better.
You have a rather bad definition of easy to get.
Personally, I have no 50s on Live. Only Five Characters (out of some 70+ alts) that are 35+ and only two of them have even run the initial Arcs in the RWZ. I don't play those Characters enough against Rikti to have earned sufficient amounts of V-Merits to get any of the stuff.

Will I use the Vanguard Pack on every Character? Most likely not, but it's nice to have the options available. The non-Com pet I can see with a couple of my Characters for certain, as well as the Costume Change Emote. Those to me alone is well worth getting that pack Free for something I'd be doing anyways.

    Thank you for the time...
  2. I most likely will purchase said Booster. It will just depend on what's being offered in that Booster.

    Thank you for the time...
  3. You have to be kidding, right?

    yesh...

Maybe it's a good thing I'm not that much into comics anymore. It just doesn't come off right to me. But then again, I actually liked The Eddie Brock Venom. It was one of the few Characters Liefield could do well in the scope of his art talents.

    Heroes in Japan

Kinda noticed this through ANN feeds. Quite interesting...

    Original Article

A related article. Interesting kindness indeed...

Another related article. Pushed overall donations of those kind of backpacks to over 700.

    Thank you for the time...
  5. Well that's one way to wake up from a restless nights sleep.

Thank you steelclaw. Now you've made the day bearable for me. Thank you.

    Gotham High

In the Group shot it's supposed to be (Lt to Rt):
Calyface (Matt Hagen), Two-Face, Penguin, Killer Croc, Riddler, Barbara Gordon, Bruce, Scarecrow, Catwoman, Joker, Harley, Poison Ivy, Bane, Mr. Freeze

There's a legend on the bottom of the group shot picture. It's a bugger to read though.

    Thank you for the time...

    Gotham High

Yea, I'm not surprised at who the artist involved is. Considering I like the guy's take on the Disney Princess'. But then again, he's done some interesting art of Harley and Ivy & Bats and Mr. Freeze, so go figure...

    Thank you for the time...
  8. Just a couple of quick comments:

Please for the love of Gawd, Do NOT force us into using the NCSoft launcher. I used on my old rig when I tried playing Exsteel. I was not too thrilled with it at that time. I doubt it's improved any.

DXP Weekend announcement. Nice. Having to hear my GF tear her hair out now to try and get the time off for it. Problematic. How about next time giving something like 4 weeks notice for something like this, please?

Teasers are nice, but how about a little more info on what to expect down the pipe?

    Thank you for the time...

I would believe so Dark One. Excel is definitely an acquired taste, but then so is FLCL. At least that has a story of some sort...

I'd say late January to early February. Why would the Winter Event be extended till the end of the month otherwise? Unless of course there's nothing else ready in the queue...

I wouldn't quite call that particular film a remake to the Lang film, per say. Since that film is based from the Manga of the same name. And the Manga had very loose inspirations to the Lang film.

That being said, I liked that Metropolis, and it is a very enjoyable film. I just feel a remake closer to the original film's story would be interesting to see.

I'm not actually. And I'm kind of glad for that too. The original film is rather good, and I think holds up well. The legacy the TV series made, I think, would kind of limit what could be done in a remake as well.

    Thank you for the time...
  12. Honestly, if there was a film I would like to seen remade, it's Fritz Lang's Metropolis. After seeing the nearly complete restoration, I think the story is worth taking another pass at.

To be honest, I think the story still has relevance today and was groundbreaking in it's time.

Read the thread and take notes, m'boy!
Tony doesn't need to. Steelclaw's already thinking of it.
    Heaven help us all...

  14. I've been finding A:EMH a very solid show.

My problem is Dis XD moved it to Sunday mornings. I just haven't bothered the set the DVR for series record mainly cause I have to share it and can't guarantee I have space.

As to Xzero's comment, your gonna see some comparisons between A:EMH and the Timverse JL/JLU series.
We're talking about each companies "Big Teams" here. The thing about JL/JLU is the overall package was solid and got better and better. Those series set a reasonably good bar to measure against. A:EMH so far is doing good and everything is gelling fine.

My one complaint up thread seems to have been cleared. There has been payoffs from several of the plot threads started from the Micro-eps and the early eps as well. I still think the overall pace is a little rushed, though.

I'll just be thrilled to get the season brick when it becomes available.

    Thank you for the time...
  15. Yes, I know...

    Necroing a 2 week+ thread, bad.

But considering this is sort of in context, I thought it better to necro than to start a new one. Now then...

Now I haven't seen Tangled yet, still want to though, so take this as you will.
The gent responsible for the "Twisted Princesses" series of pics has done one for Rapunzel as well. Artistically, it's decent. It's the backstory that the artist gives on this one, I rather like.

    Thank you for the time...
  16. This... This...

    This just made my holiday!
Beautiful work there Steelclaw! Beautiful work!

    Thank you for the time...
  17. No doubt Tony...

Thing is, Someone kinda mentioned about it in CH/VC the day before...

    Thank you for the time...
  18. Now if you went the alt. animation route, what about Shield Defense? Have you seen what a Kin Melee/SD looks like? Left hand: Standard SD pose. Right Hand: Wavy KM movements. It looks ok, but not the best. I couldn't really see it done with that set.

As to a brand-spanking new set? I would love to see a mix of Staff/Punch/Kick type powers done. But I think BABs post from Post-GR launch already quoted gives enough reason to not expect it in the near future.

    Thank you for the time...
  19. This actually seems like a interesting site.

Heck, I still have a number of my Champs 4th ed Core book and a number of related releases (Dark Champions and Normals Abound) that relate to Supers and Civilian and Legal interactions. And the "realism" factor of Supers has always been an interesting side thought to me.

Just looked through the last several posts, and that was enough for me to bookmark it for me.

    Darkman (1990)

    Ah yes, Darkman...

One of Rami's earliest films staring a youngish Liam Neeson. Gawd I do enjoy this film.

A bit cheesy, but considering when it was made, it's a film of it's time.

    Thank you for the time...
  21. Oh well...

No Happy Hogan in the #3. Not that it's a big loss. I think though Favreau must of worked in the over use of Happy in #2 'cause he must of been thinking he wasn't gonna do #3.

    Such is life.

    Thank you for the time...
  22. If I recall right from the one big-box place I worked at...

One of the AV guys, who really wasn't much of a Sci-fi fan, enjoyed seeing the Blu-ray version of The Fifth Element. This guy rather enjoyed seeing the movie in Blu-ray and felt it was a must to really see what the HD experience was all about.

The film is a cult fav and worth seeing. I'd consider it.

    Thank you for the time...
  23. Yea Marcian, your thinking of the post season 4 specials.

I'd watch them after season 4. Since that's when they were aired. Haz already named them (in airing order as well, IIRC), so you should be good in that respect.

    Thank you for the time...
  24. I just noticed this myself.
Had a couple of Scirocco's Dervish sitting for a early 20's Character I was gonna use them on.

    Time to let support know...
    joy...

    Thank you for the time...
  25. I was noticing it a bit yesterday when zoning I'd drop toggles as well. No set pattern or what not.
Yes, I think I'll have to be a little more aware as well.

    Thank you for the time...
