Just getting that out the way as I have two bases to show off (both on a an 8x8 plot and one of them uses an incredible 2 base rooms! ).

The Character who will be doing the tour: Tyra Strike
The name of your SuperGroup: Tyra's Place
A brief description of your base: A small home built at the top floor of a building. Shared living space for several people

The Character who will be doing the tour: Tyrius Gar
The name of your SuperGroup: Nighthunter
A brief description of your base: A small basement bookshop that is the concealed entry point for a base for the Nighthunters in the Rogue Isles. It houses a small shared living space and series of artifacts apprpriated from various sources.

Now my work hours may conflict with a broadcast time; is there any proposed viewing times planned? Especially with the multiple timezones involved.
  2. Only thing I can think of is if a base is standing empty for a while, rent or not, then it will go into an inactive state. It usually fixes itself after 24 hours of revisiting.

If it doesn't then it's a bizarre rent glitch where you have no rent to pay but it still wants you to but you can't because you have no rent to pay. That one can only be sorted with a petition to support to reactivate your base.
  3. I think the original restriction was because they didn't want people taking two of the same travel power and that was back in the day of no mutually-exclusive powers.

All I'd want is the flight pool for a WS and the teleport pool for my PBs.

    Channel Increase

It's actually been raised twice since global chat existed. Originally it was only 5 made channels plus all the system channels. It was raised to 10 and then again to 15.

Can't see any reason against another increase if it's feasible so sure, why not?

    Nooooooooooooo!

This was something which surprised me. I expected Voltair (aka Vultureman) to switch sides or maybe tenuously side with the cats but Pumyra being a turncoat was a brilliant play-off. So abandoned that she switched over to Mumm-ra's side and leads to more contention for the next series.

I was referring to the inclusive VIP sets like Olympian, Defense, IDF, etc which the Paragon Market interface won't allow you to buy if you are currently VIP but that if you drop to Premium you won't be able to use them.

In that instance; you have to rebuy those costume sets UNLIKE the T9VIP sets which are permanent.
  7. Only one question: when's the Union bases tour?

It's to do with the powers. I notice similar slowdown when I have all my Thugs, Dark Servant, T4 Seers out and then use Ion Judgement Core T4.

First time I tried this it wasn't until the second mob with the fliers in it that it became a LCtM and I'd bunched them together.

You might be getting it mixed-up with current VIP-inclusive sets like Olympian, Defense, Leather, Chainmail et.al. Those sets are inclusive to VIPs but if you go premium you have to purchase the sets if you want to keep making use of them or alter any costumes which use them. If you're a VIP you can't purchase them till you go premium since the option to buy is blocked for VIPs.

    I24 hopes?

    This:

And I'd like to be able to kick his donkey (or whatever orafice he uses to excrete) without it being locked being gimmicky precursors.

    A straight-up bossfight for 48 players.

Yeah, another minor inconsistency in the writing. Far too impulsive for him but at least he retained his cool flying the Feliner and racing/winning against Vultureman. I expected the flashback to be a bit more engaging too rather than a quick narrative but still; it's part 1.

This can get very annoying because as soon as you enter an area where they both are the 5th attacks and ALWAYS wins defeating all the Council in sight. Other areas this becomes a factor include Brickstown where a least one contact has several missions involving street hunting Council and trying to even find them is a chore.
An easier fix for this would be to have Council AND 5th count for the hunt mission. You either get the relevant stuff off the Council or the 5th who've just beaten them down.
  13. Depends what you mean - regular or "advanced" ixp unlocks?

It was up for me just before Midnight British Summer Time, right there on the Home page.

Point being, "well-designed" isn't as black and white of an issue as you're implying. One person's fun is anothers tedium, and that is just simply human nature.
I gave you two examples neither of which needs anything special beyond SOs. And 'well-designed' isn't as black and white as you're implying I'm implying it is.

ITF has a large range coverage, can be done easily on SO-only characters and has some interesting set pieces. I don't know of anyone who's recently said that they hate it. As said above the Midnighters access can now be nabbed at level 1 by going through TUNNEL to Night Ward and nabbing the explore inside the Praetorian Midnighters. The only gate is having to go through the Primal Midnighters to get to the zone.

Trials are not well-designed (Snow Globe has put it much better than me in beta threads). Latter ones are being designed implicitly for players with shifts which is why the NPCs are being given shifts of their own. This has led to players self-regulating who gets to join leagues for later trials and newer Incarnates being left out because they don't have enough shifts of their own.

And what happens with the next arc of trials? Will the difficulty start over? Doubtful given it's supposed to be the Well-consuming Battalion next.

Exactly. City has stayed around despite not having an true endgame for 6-7 years and with a "surprising 90% month-on-month retention".

Very true. I wonder how well the Magi trial would've been recieved if there was a guarenteed Very Rare on a week-long timer.

If they didn't gate things, the only people who would run it are hardcore badgers and completionists, and they would stop after they got their badges. We wouldn't care much about that, but I'm sure they would.
Which shows they are badly designed in some way or people wouldn't be avoiding it otherwise.

Because those clamouring for endgame left complaining City had none.

Things is they have done content which people enjoy running repeatadly: ITF which has a huge range coverage and RWZ raids still get run on a daily and weekly basis. DA is also a hell of a lot more enjoyable than grinding trials.

At least in OUR endgame content, everyone who does it gets rewarded for doing so.
Only for mechanics. The costume pieces are currently selling in excess of 500mill on the ah (Excalibur hitting 1.5bill a couple of times) and if you don't/can't trial then you're out of luck unless you're very rich.
  18. Or... they could remove some if not all of the NPC shifts from the later trials. Rather than keeping them as-is, devs wondering 'why do you keep running BAF/Lambda?', and having to come up with ever less ingenious ways of "convincing" people to actually play the later ones only to have it upturned by simple farming tactics.

I don't see Incarnate sidekicking ever happening because then there'd be less incentive to do the cursed things for yourself. Remove some of the NPC shifts and then it'd be less do-or-die when it comes to player shifts.

When the DD trail was part of the DA arc set; I was one of the few who complained that new Incarnates fresh off DA's storyline might not even have their first shift and suggested removing the NPC shifts to make it a second entry-level arc for trials. During the beta MrCaptainMan (IIRC) organised some Alpha Tier 2 ONLY runs of the trial and while the mechanics were easy enough to overcome; the shifts crippled them at the second stage.

Take the NPC shifts away and make all the trials more favourable to being run.
  19. Nope, none of the old Atlas (or Galaxy) missions are available via Ouro...

    ... because they sucked

But good news that the contacts are being re-used rather than forgotten. Maybe the City Rep will get an update too at some point.
  20. Not when they've been foreshadowed since i11. Although I hope they gut any and all references to 'the Well' that may or may not have been made since the original incarnation last seen in 2006.
  21. I'm not upset but I am disappointed. Won't bother voting next time since it's just gonna come down to 'whatever fits best'.

Not surprising, really. Once it's in Open, it only gets changed if it's a main utility feature or it's game-breaking in some way (by bug or by glitch).

The problem I have is this is a bit of wordplay going on here. We asked for no new salvage so we go no new salvage.
