Thundercats: Pumyra, you traitorous beeatch! Decent season finale... might be the series finale, as CN has yet to confirm if a second season is coming.

Legend of Korra: Lin! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Also, what was it they named the new baby? R-something?

Also, GENERAL IROH! With Zuko's voice! I can hear the fangirls going crazy now.

LoK: Rhona? Dunno.
Has anyone noticed that as the series progresses, they seem to use the old classic bending more and more often?
I was really hoping to see Zuko himself, but I guess his son is just as well.
I'm betting we see the Avatar State next week.
Also, Meelo was hilarious.

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

Who else thinks we just saw Zuko's grandson? General Iroh is too obvious for anything else. He looks too young to be Zuko's son considering he looks to be in his 20s.

Yeah, I'm betting on grandson. I assume Zuko and Mai had children in the same timeframe that Aang and Katara did (and Tenzin is the youngest of three). Iroh II could be the child of Maiko's oldest kid.

CAN NOT WAIT!!!

For the season finale that is. I wondered if anybody was going to start metal bending those ships. The police should not have been helpless just because they got magnetically attracted. Those War Hulks are made of metal themselves.

Meelo is a mutant in the Toph class imo. I am surprised we have not really seen an asphyxiation air technique. Seems like something that a high level airbender could pull off on a group of enemies and definitely on an individual. Should work on Aman.
Tenzhin is a badass and defended himself well vs the Equalist hit squad. His kids are a little super team.

Not sure about these Hulks, but the prototype used platinum which is unbendable. Could be that magnetism confines them so they can't use their martial art style bending to crush the Hulk. So it could be a matter of who attacks first if these are the mass produced version.

Also, you need to be able to move in order to bend. It requires performing martial arts-like gestures. The policemen couldn't move once their metal suits were magnetized.

When you think about it, this is a reason why Bloodbending is so feared and outlawed. It can completely remove an opposing bender's ability to fight back.

Not the most terrifying reason. Bloodbending allows its user to control their enemies as cannon fodder. Having your friends attack you makes it difficult to fight back. Especially, if knocking out your friends doesn't do anything. So you have to either do some limb chopping or dodge your friend's attacks and attack the bloodbender. Of course, there is the possibility that chopping your friend's limbs off will give the bloodbender more things to control and flying limbs are a dangerous weapon.

ARG! GUH, wait... was there a new episode of Korra? Some kind of special preview? I thought the new episode was next week.

Yeah, new episode. They only advertised next weeks episode early because it's the season finale.

I can't imagine how much I'd hate it if Nick went with their original plan to stop after these episodes and call it a mini-series.

Yeah, the one-hour season finale is next week. Today was a new episode, though. And a great one.

You can find every episode (legally) here, though there's a lag and today's isn't up yet.

Indeed, it seems that they get added on Sundays...

So, using... other, methods. Just watched it and:

The voice seemed off to me. Like, I know it's Zuko's voice, and I know he's going to be a descendant of Zuko... but it just seemed too young to fit the way he looked, IMO.

Nooooooooooooo!

This was something which surprised me. I expected Voltair (aka Vultureman) to switch sides or maybe tenuously side with the cats but Pumyra being a turncoat was a brilliant play-off. So abandoned that she switched over to Mumm-ra's side and leads to more contention for the next series.

Lin's sacrifice brought it home for me. As for Amon, I think he learned a chi blocking move that lasts until it's physically undone. He strikes me as a charlatan of sorts. Jinora, Ikky, and Meelo stole the show. Go airbender family!!!

LoK: I might be being nitpicky... but something that bothers me about the fight on the airship... Lin is wearing full metal armor. She's standing firmly in contact with the metal airship. She gets electrocuted. Shouldn't everyone else on the airship have also been electrocuted?

^It would make sense the soles on her shoes would be rubber.
Wait, Fridge logic, do her shoes have bottoms?

Yes, metal bottoms. She can metalbend them away to do the ground-echolocation thing her mother taught her.

Also, I know I spend too much time on TV Tropes when I automatically know what Fridge Logic means.

I saw the Pumyra thing coming the moment they wondered how Mumm-ra was always finding them.

Absolutely loving Legend of Korra.

Whatever little batteries that thing was packing couldn't have pushed the current that far. Any one standing right beside her may have been in some trouble, but the charge wouldn't have been able to make it much further. We could probably also assume they have some grounding system built into the frame so that when the metal airships get hit by lightning they don't just fry all the people onboard.

You would expect the metal benders to use an insulating undergarment by now due to them being rendered almost useless. Makes you wonder if they don't have the concept of rubber in the Avatar world.

The Equalists and their electric tazer weapons are fairly new. It would take time to construct a new armor that counters this and is still bendable by the metal benders themselves. And considering the current epidemic, the Council's disorder, and Lin stepping down as chief of police, that kind of time to dedicate to new armor just isn't something they have.

Just saw Korra. Yet another great episode.

Thundercats was alright but the twist made the episode.
