I do have a super strength shield brute that is a hero...he will be switching sides for sure with GR...I had given up on brutes after leveling a fire/fire to 50 a year ago as I found it tough...I think it was because I had just leveled a fire/fire tank to 50 and found that easier...
So I decided I needed to find a brute set I would like to play and he was a blast....he definitely made me rethink my "Never play a brute again" stance...I still dust him off now and then for fun.... -
I would definitely go see it...and I would buy it on DVD....and also buy a Director's Cut if they released that later....
I guess I kinda collect COH/X stuff...I have the retail and collector's editions of both COH and COV...a pre paid time card box for COH and COV...the COV pre-order box...2 copies of Good vs Evil as they have different covers and the Architect Edition....I will be buying Going Rogue...
I have both runs of comics and buy every in game item or pack...
Doesn't matter if it is live action or CG...good or bad....I would be there in line for the theatre or in the store to buy it if it was direct to DVD... -

That being said I don't think the bio space needs to be expanded by huge amounts. I don't want to read novels here either but it's amazing how often I could've used say 100 or 200 characters more than the current 1023. I've probably wasted several hours total in the last 6 years re-writing many bios that started out being around 1200 characters to squeeze down into 1023.
Regardless I'm not going to assume this is ever going to change. This has been suggested for years and nothing's happened one way or the other. At least this game's better than Champions Online - it only allows 500 characters for bios. *shrugs* -

This is a good idea for a thread! Alot of my heroes and villains know of each other...some work directly together....and some are linked directly together...
The Fallen Angel (my main) is a mutant who is shunned by normal people. he hates his powers (eng/eng blaster)....he tries to lose himself in the craziness of Paragon but can not overcome his obligation to help....The Decadent Angel is the twin brother who was born powerless and is jealous of his brother....he went to the Rogue Isles and enlisted in Arachnos...he submitted to Ghost Widow and through a combination of tech and magic granted him powers (eng/dark corr)...
I allowed them to evolve as they aged so The Ruinous Angel (Fallen's evolution is a all human PB VEAT)...his mutation granted new powers and made him more powerful than before....seeing this the twin brother seekns an increase of power and Widow grants it...she re-brands him The Nefarious Angel (night widow VEAT)....
Lone Arrow is an archery/psi blaster who is from the year 2045...he is the son of Mantivore and Sister Pysche...he wears a costume very similar to Manticore's but is green like his mother's costume...his sister is Maiden Ethos who is a sonic and force field defender...she wears a costume similar to her mother's but it is red like her father's costume...they have come back in time to warn of Statesman going insane in the future and ripping Manticore in half and destroying the majority of Paragon City...
The rest of my alts are in the same sg's and vg's...so they are definitely aware of each other... -

I sent off a petition about this already but was wondering if anyone else had issues with vet rewards not being granted....I was supposed to have my 63 month vet 9 days ago and it still has not shown up...I have not had the account go inactive since my last one...

I see no issue with using social networking sites to try and lure in new blood...to be honest....I think anything is worth a try right now...I am not a huge fan of in game items being tied to it but if it achieves the goal then go for it...
The game is definitely an "underground" name...I went to my local EB games when the MA edition came out and asked for it...the store manager said they don't carry COH but they carry WoW and Warhammer...I thought it was strange but browsed some games and found the MA edition tucked away on a shelf...this seems wrong to me....
I agree with the OP that we need some inexpensive advertising...I do set my facebook status to say I am going to play City Of Heroes for more info message me...but I have over 500 friends on facebook...would they all play COH...???...dunno...but it is alot easier to have some app for them to explore than sending 500 instant messages to see... -

As well some established sgs do not allow all members to have access to editing the base...so some people are missing out on that aspect...yes they could make their own sg but as I stated previously it is solution for me...now wmaybe others find it suits their needs perfectly fine...but I see no issue with each character having their own little space outside of the sg/vg base...
I mean in the Justice League cartoon...Batman did have the Batcave but also had the Watchtower as well... -

I would like to see The Coming Storm actually show up...
I would love to see Oroborus evolve into allowing you to go back into time to major events that have happened in the past of Paragon City...maybe a taskforce/strikeforce (oro style) where you back to help/hinder Atlas on December 7th, 1941...but have a variety of different ones..
I would love to see your actions on the city impact you...such as you seem to do alot of missions fighting Skulls...so randomly through those missions you encounter your skull arch nemesis...would give a little more weight to the missions and if it is random then you have no idea when he would attack...
I used ot not like the idea of an apartment/hideout that is unique to your character but the idea has grown on me...maybe it could have an influence bank that your other characters have access to...enhancement...salvage and recipe storage...for people such as myself that tend to solo alot it would help alot...this way you could even bank your hallowe'en salvage for your alts... -

Santa was ok to me....he made me feel really old (I am 34...LOL) when I opened the Transformers 25th Anniversary 16 dvd Matrix Of Leadership edition complete series....I got a 12 month xbox live membership...KISS drumsticks for Rockband...Guitar Hero 5 and UFC Undisputed 2009 for the 360...
My daughter did really well....I got her a Hannah Montana PSP and her grandparents got her a Nintendo Wii so she has a ton of gaming options...LOL -

Strangely enough, the times I've "fought back" the aggressor runs when they take damage, only to return when I get involved in other stuff.
So over the next half hour we go at it...he dropped me once and I dropped him a half a dozen times...but the moment I relished was after he ran up and hit me the last time...I turned and sniped him in the face...and he takes off flying yelling in broadcast "This is not possible....not possible....why can't I kill you??"...
He ran back to the villain base and hid behind turrents thinking I would not fly towards him...well I was brave and zoomed at the base...he turned and ran while spouting in broadcast "You are nuts....why can't I kill you???"...he zoned right as the turrents took me down....but man it was fun being a blaster and chasing a brute all around... -
My level 50 blaster that is on the Freedom server was unfortunately 50 when the safeguard missions were introduced....so I missed alot of the lower exploration badges from the missions...this character is my badge character and I would love if someone could throw me an invite if they have the missions for Kings Row...Steel Canyon...Skyway City...Independance Port...Talos Island...Brickstown....and Founders Falls...I tried broadcasting in the badge channel for freedom but had no takers....if you can help I would be willing to pay 1 million influence per mission if I need to just to get the badge...

Ironic eh???...the guy who had all this power only needed a global threat to act and use it...my parents do not know I am here....my girlfriend slept as I packed what I needed before I left in the middle of the night...the three people who care about me the most in this world have no idea where I am or what I am doing...well...they won't unless I don't come back....as then the press will release the list of names and mine will be there...
Mom....Dad...Corrina...be there for each other....know I love you all very very much....know that when push came to shove...I decided to man up and push back...I hope you are all proud of me...and to whoever is reading this...heed my words...if you have a chance to make a difference...do it as soon as you can...do not wait until your hand is forced....

As a VERY casual forum poster (something like 300 + posts in 5 years).....what should I think of rep on the forums..???...I noticed I had 3 when I logged in today from 3 months ago (first time I logged in since that last post to wish Posi well)....2 negative and one positive....I am just curious as I do not post here much at all....what is it all about...???
And I am sure someone will call this post garish and give me bad rep for it...LOL
