Today we hope for the arrival of GR, animated hair, and many other things as well.

What do you think we will be hoping for the same time next year?
Feel free to fantasize and hope for things that might never happen!

the fruition of all the resources they have tied up in gr for all this time. while babs, jay, some other animator and a few others have done amazing jobs this year, its been a long time since we got a tileset, a story arc, a new or revamped zone, and it has been felt by even the most optimistic of us, but this year we hopefully get to see going rogue and see it all come together. Im hoping for the best.

If the story team doesn't start chucking giant heaps of new story content at me in the regular issues the moment they're done tying up all resources in the upcoming paid expansion, by this time next year I'll mostly be hoping for a new MMO.

Moar cossie bits! Specifically, an update to the old spandexy patterns to make them hi-res, in line with the other new stuff. And the Kheldian sash, naturally.

Animated tails would also make me very happy.

Ridiculous and out there/gag wishes:
-A series of "Mini-issues" devoted to updating, streamlining, buffing, and maybe some small nerfing, done for each of the ATs in a TF2 class update manner. (Blaster Vs. Stalker update!)

-For Mercy Island to see some rebuilding, the place is a complete hole, srsly, why would Ghost Widow wanna hang out in a dump like that?

-Steelclaw for event coordinator Dev!

-Me for enemy design Dev! (Actually, who would be the current guy in charge of that? It seems like something that would be less of an office of one guy and more like something shared between Jay, BaB, Castle, and Posi)

Serious Wishes:
-Updates to the city scenery, zone touch ups, and storyline revising/updating

-New map tile sets.

-More space for MA mission arcs and critter customization.

-Updates for bases (more items, more things to do in them, etc. etc.)

-Samuraiko for Dev!

-A little help for lethal damage dealers.

I'd like to see some of the better MA arcs that adhere to canon making it into the game proper.

I'd like to see better use made of some of the great arcs we already have. They tend to be a kind of "fire and forget" - once they are done on a toon they don't get revisited much, and yet the ITF and LGTF gets done a lot. Making them more accessible would be a big benefit to the game.

My only hope is that there is NEW stuff to do for level 50's.

NOT level 45 to 50. But ACTUAL stuff for level 50 characters to do... lvl 50 ONLY stuff... That would be awesome.

I will admit that a coherent prim/sec combo for both a power armor and gadget themed character would be great, those who recognize where those suggestions come from will recognize that they are some of the better aspects of that game, Coh needs to get to stealin'.

Good idea that actually, would defo enjoy playing material which is designed only for players who have "completed" the game. [Obv by completed i mean reached level 50, so the missions do need to be very challenging]

revamping the 1-20 content for blueside.

more SFs for the villains.

boomtown revamp/rebuild.

more costume pieces... because obviously 3 hours tweaking my alts isn't long enough.

The thing is, with interactive environments, the more interactive you make them, the more memory they start to eat up. There used to be issues with just a bunch of leaves falling off trees and stuff, I think. What exactly do you want in terms of 'interactive', by the way?

Castle et al. have said that they'd love to do more stuff like Oil Slick, but the problem is that they still haven't quite figured out the 'failure to light' bug yet. I believe Castle stated that if they ever did figure it out, they'd start trying to put more stuff like Oil Slick in the game.

Yes to SFs filling in the gaps.

Have to disagree with more zones, redside. Redside having less zones, it one of it's appeals to me. More zones, doesn't mean more content. :P More content means more content.

I would love some way to earn more merits redside! Only because the prices on redside market is ridiculous.

*Find some way to the open the Shadow Shards for villains.

*More SF's filling the level gaps for villains.

*Revamp of the old Hero content e.g.:
- Talk missions (like srg. whatshisname for the Hollows, all the security chiefs,...); Make them optional! You get to make a choice between the talk mission or a combat mission.
- All those loose missions not part of an arc, ditch them. I hate it that I have to wade through half a dozen of glorified radio missions before I'm offered the actual arc I picked the contact for. Or alternativly make it so you can pick either the loose missions or the story arc.
- Revamp old, uninteresting and underused (hazard) zones.

*Better worked out base editor with more decorative base items.

Nothing very spectaculer and all very doable IMO.

Call me a pessimist if you wish, but I expect that at this same time next year we'll be hoping for animated hair and a revamp of the old content.
