  1. Here is what i came up with for an all around TW/FA build with the help of combats TW/ELE build. It will soft cap to ranged/AoE with one luck and use defensive sweep for melee def. I lost the achilles heel proc in Rend Armor to reach the 32.5 mark on ranged defense but if you want to live below the soft cap feel free to add the crushing impact set in there along with the proc. (which i am considering after i see what i can do with enhancement boosters. I am taking Agility so you wont be able to see the true recharge and defense numbers together without switching between Nerve and Spiritual. There is definitely wiggle room here in the slotting.

    Using Combats conversion of Battle Axe to Titan Weapons as follows:

    Chop - Defensive Sweep, 5 Oblits 1 LotG +recharge
    Swoop - Follow Through
    Gash - Rend Armor,
    Cleave - Titan Sweep
    Pendulum - Arc of Destruction
    BU- Build Momentum

  3. Trying to make a PBAoE Monster here. My build goals were,

    Ranged defense, I think ill benefit more from ranged then melee due to the fact that i will stun anything that gets close, and S/L is out because im going soul.
    Recharge,
    Hps (almost capped)
    Recovery.

    Was only able to squeeze out 33% ranged defense without severely underslotting some of my key powers. Even then i wish i had about 6 more slots to work with here lol. What really hurts is the Stupefy Proc is a chance to KB. You get 3.13 ranged defense for 6 slotting the set into dark pit and Oppressive gloom but i refuse to add Knockback into the mix.

    Any suggestions on how to improve this build, its no where near set in stone. Plus, My mids is acting up when it comes to looking at enhancement numbers so be kind.

  4. Did they change the blaster Opp Gloom? i always thought it was mag 2, making the Pit/gloom combo a mag 4 and able to stun bosses.
    That being said, i have planned to go soul from the start.

    Fire/Dark/Soul

    /Signed i threw out my attack chain for a fire/dark/soul in the "Dark Manipulation" thread. ".Aim..Soul tentacles..night fall...RoF..."Teleport" into melee (i do come from the darkside) Dark Pit with Oppressive gloom on for CC. Soul Drain...clean up with Blaze, midnight grasp and fireball. Dark Consume when needed." think i need to slide Soul Drain up a little lol
  6. In the build i threw together to try this i had Combat Jumping, Tough and Temp Invul running. I hate retoggleing too, thats certainly a drawback. Hitting Inferno as FoN blinked would be fun, nice idea.
  7. Has anyone ever tried this combo, A high recharge build can get the downtime of FoN around a minute and a half. With Perma Drain Psyche i would imagine the end crash would be overcome after it killed all your end and the high regen/resist should make you pretty durable to all damage but Psi. Sounds good in theory but a lot of things do until you try them.
  8. Local man is right about Stone Mastery, i have it on my Controller as well. I made this with the idea that you would have to earn those LoTG's. We can run tip missions together. 5 missions a day can be done pretty fast when you do them over and over lol. Here is the build with Fire/kin/stone. We can cheapen it up even further if you want

  11. If i remember correctly, we voted on a new offensive and defensive set. Dual blades won, with Psi melee coming in second. I think...Shield defense won, but they decided to go with will power due to time constraints, which finished second. I think "growth" was an option too but it was way to long ago for me to feel confident about it. That post was purged many moons ago.
  12. im going to have to wait until lvl 47 for this i think but here goes my Fire/Dark Blaster....Aim..Soul tentacles..night fall...RoF..."Teleport" into melee (i do come from the darkside) Dark Pit with Oppressive gloom on for CC. Soul Drain...clean up with Blaze, midnight grasp and fireball. Dark Consume when needed. The alpha attacks miss out on soul drain but im not complaining...I do vote for shadow cloak over death shroud though. 8-)

  17. Hahaha That was me that gave this thread a wakie. I had it saved for a later date when i was ready to dive into my fire/cold. I might add aim too, i have it on all my other corruptors, and with Judgememt coming out, i might kiss Inferno's toggle dropping a$$ goodbye. I would use it before i hit Heatloss or benumb. That build is good for the money you put in Ice ember but it doesnt come close to the numbers we have invested in the other builds. Hit point cap, 70-80% recharge and capped S/L doesnt come cheap ;-) but fire/cold doesnt have to be min/maxed to be awesome, thats for sure.
  18. Here is a Fire/cold i built with the help of this thread and Rad Avenger. Right now this build is very expensive but you could replace some of the purple sets and PvP set for lesser enhancements and strive for them in the future. You will lose the hit point cap and some recharge. I used the Spiritual Alpha slot to make Heat Loss as close to perma as possible.

    Some things i am still on the fence on -

    The slotting of Sleet? Should i proc it out completely or keep it as a hybrid of bonuses and procs with a decent recharge value.

    Inferno - With all these toggles i hate having to retoggle them after i Nuke, but it just doesnt seem right to skip it having close to perma heatloss and having the ability to beat the recovery crash. I could easily replace this with Fire Breath and a set of Posi blast.

    Alpha Slot - Musculature could be a better fit for this build, haven't had a chance to try it out.

  19. I think a dynamic respec like mids in game would be amazing, being able to view your combat attributes as you add powers and enhancements would be great too. Picking all your powers, then slotting them up only to see you slotted something wrong because you have an expensive enhancement you cant fit in your build or your tray? Major PITA

    I agree with this, and the new burn is an amazing AoE attack now. I think its underslotted.
