Praetoria for me is actually too quick for leveling, you outlevel a lot of the contacts if you clear every map, have more than yourself on team etcetc. When the OP says he wants fast leveling all i can think of is someone doorsitting on an AE mish getting leveled in a matter of hours. This to me isn't what i would want when i like to do content (sure i sometimes boost some characters up a bit but normally because i've hit a "slow spot" not through desire to have X lvl50s by X date)

When i first started it was just before AE came in, and yes i was an AE baby for a couple of months until i found out there was more beyond Atlas Park. Now i like to think i know the game and the content (not as well as say a 6 year vet but hey).

I love this game and my partner has been playing since CoV beta, so i get told of how hard leveling used to be. Sometimes i wish we could "rollback" back to those days because its about the journey to 50 not being 50. I made a solo character a while back to try and make a challenge for myself, got to 35 odd in a week and then left her on the shelf as i felt she was leveling waaaaaay too fast and too easy.

Praetoria has given me a chance to reroll the solo character and actually have a bit of a challenge with leveling. Honestly wish they'd reduce the xp gain throughout the game so we can enjoy the road to 50 more (or to repeat an idea of mine from a different thread, make it so we can choose how much xp we get other than on or off. none, 1/4, 1/2. 3/4, full options would be a godsend to me).

First of all Welcome back to the City.

Secondly i haven't noticed anyone pointing you to this website: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page

It's a useful wiki page which hopefully can answer a lot of questions you may have in the future. Its a player run site but is generally up to date with the latest things.

Thirdly, make sure to hit up on the Global channels we use.

Union Chat - Talk about anything, ask for help, introduce yourself etc.
Sals Badgehunters - This channel is Unions Badgechannel, for hunts, task force making etc.
Union Taskforce - This channel is used to announce Task force (creation), raids etc.

To join any of these channels simply take a look at your UI. You will notice the word "Chat" or any other Tab (you can make a new tab by right clicking on your chat box and selecting "add tab") .
Type in /chan_join "Union Chat" and click enter.
Then right click "chat" and look for something about channels. Then click that choice. You will get a new window divided into two. Left and Right.
On your Left side are the channels that "chat" -tab has active. See if Union chat is on left or right side. If its on the right side, simply move it over to the left, then click accept or Ok.
This way you have enabled the chat channel (sometimes global channels vanish, with this you know how to enable it again)
Repeat as necessary for the other channels.

The COP Trial got revamped and readded to the game to give the players the buffs for a certain amount of time when they complete it instead.

Also if you've ever done a heroside hami raid be sure to check out The Abyss, it's the vill equiv to The Hive but imo i think it looks better

EU servers here and having lots of problems since they moved the server machines to the US. Usually only takes a reset or 2 to get past the updater but now? Been waiting over 3 hours and it still won't go past connecting.

I'm with Virgin and i have spoken to them and they say its not me its NCSoft. My partner plays on a different pc and he can get on fine when i can't and vice versa. Hell i play a lot of other games which take more resources than CoH and they run fine too so it's not even my machine.

Thing is if we don't get a fix for this soon, my partner and i are gonna be giving up on CoH altogether and sticking with our other games, something i do not really want to do but waiting for 3+ hours isn't fun to me in all honesty.

And for those who tinker with their shortcuts (and I'm not trying to be snarky/offensive here)... i don't like doing it and if i get forced to do it it's not exactly a fix by NCSoft is it? I know you guys are trying to help but NC need to sort the problem out their end instead of making out its our ISP's/Machines/insert excuse here.

I had this once, the clockwork spawn right behind the guy who gives the mission but sometimes they aren't there. Just wait a cpl of minutes and they should respawn for you.

I get a few comments on my main's main costume which is a dragon form. Unfortunately this is the only image of said dragon form that i have uploaded atm and i can't upload anymore til i remember my password XD

Also posting an old cossie of hers when i first started which again got a fair few comments not all of them nice but my costume is made for me and not for everyone else so if they don't like it tough, i pay my sub not them.

Been seeing them in atlas WW, AE and Statue on Union EU Server for the last couple of weeks. They jump into your face and then start spamming a macro advertising their services sometimes 3 or 4 times in a few seconds.

Every time i see one i copy paste the local chat and also get their global name and paste that in for NC. Then i "ignore as spammer" just to make sure. The last 2 or 3 i've had a thanks for reporting this from NC and also seen the spammer have the "countdown" shortly after sending the petition so somethings working.

Also seeing a lot of garbage names with lvl50 farmers in Atlas AE which are similar to the global names i've been reporting but obviously i can't prove they're RMT accounts so i don't report them. When you see 8 "random letter" variations, all with the same powersets/set bonuses etc going in and out of the AE portal, all with random costumes from the random button on the editor it doesn't look like a family or friends playing together. Also wouldn't be an SG playing together cause none of them are in one. So it seems very fishy to me but i could be wrong, so if it is indeed a family playing together i apologize now.

Just gets to be frustrating at times but as some have said the /ignore feature is wonderful

Not only the buffs but theres a second good point to using them if you are a badge hunter...

Crafting them adds to your total crafting badges like the 500 made one (can't remember the name) which make it easier to get those badges as doing the various lvl IO badges doesn't finish them for you.

CoX F2P wouldn't last and i hope that NC never think about making it that way.

As for leveling being too slow? Dude if you really think leveling is too slow think again. I rolled a kat/regen scrapper to solo some of the content and by the end of a week (playing an hour or 3 each day) got her to the early 30s, i also stopped at that point because it just seemed way to quick to me as a soloer and shes been gathering dust ever since. Leveling is too quick in this game IMHO and i for one wouldn't mind if NC changed the xp rate so it was slightly slower than now or at least give us an option to have different xp rates, not just on and off. Say for instance no xp, 1/4 xp, 1/2 xp, 3/4 xp and full xp, then i could tailor how quickly i WANT my character to level.

In other words, to the OP, If this happens It'll be a cold day in hell for me

Thanks for doing this and hopefully we'll get more people knowing about this fine charity.

Having altitus myself, and an EU account which limits me to basically 2 english servers (one of which i don't play on very often because most of my friends are on the other) its pretty hard to try the concepts i want to try. I really wish i had 11 servers to pick from, the US crowd sound like fun guys.
