Help me chose a server please

Hi there, my name is Tiago, i'm 20 and i'm from Portugal i played this game on issue 11 or 12 on some trial days and since then i had the need to play this game again, so i went crazy and just bought COH: Going Rogue from NCSoft. Since i'm new to the EU servers ( I played on US ), I sure aprecciate some help chosing the server. If possible, a server with no quitters and with good teamplay Thanks in advance Sorry about the 2 others posts but i can't delete them :S

Ok..this might be some far off rare coincidence. But that's as in Tiago M? AKA Tubago on GameFAQs from a few years ago on the FFX boards?

Nah, never played FFX nore my aka is Tubago. But yeah, I'm Tiago M. ( M = Meireles ) Any sugestion on the server selection?

Right, Eu servers.
Union is the one with highest population, but I do believe Defiant has its share of people too. Both of the servers have English as main language.
Zukunft is a German server and Vigilance is a French server.

I mainly play on Union.
Now you may not see many players out there at first. (Remember this game is instanced based) So getting into some of the main global channels are a must.

Unions main global channels are:
Sals badgehunters - The main badge hunting channel. A lot of Task forces are made through this channel as well.
Union Taskforce - A channel used much for organizing Task forces and events.
Union Chat - A channel where you can speak of almost anything.

To join a channel you write the following:
/chan_join "Union Chat"
This will make you join the channel Union Chat.
Now from time to time we have experienced the loss of global channel server (and have to re-enable them)... Well this is how you make certain your channels are enabled:
In your chat window, rightclick on the tab "chat" (or what you have it named), then go to the channels choice. A new window will pop up with a row on the left and one on the right. The ones on the right side are those that the "chat" tab has not enabled. The one on the left side shows those channels that are enabled. Simply move the ones from the right side over to the left and click Ok/enable.

Main play time is in the evening so from about 5pm and onwards. But things happen before that as well.

I find the people that I play with as a bunch of no-quitters (I have rarely seen anyone do that) and they are a fun bunch to play with.

Aah ok. I figured it's a far off chance but too many things match between you and that guy, lol.

Anyhoo. I'm sorry I can't help you decide on an EU server since I'm an NA player. But..why not play on both and decide which one you like better? You start off by 12 character slots on each server by default. So my personal recommendation would be to create a character or two on both (something that you actually enjoy...so that wouldn't influence your judgement on the actual server or teaming in it) and after a month or two decide for yourself.

Hmm, I can only remember one channel used on Defiant "Defiant Events".

I think Lady Arete has covered everything and as Wanted suggested, try playing on both Union and Defiant. Welcome (back) to the game

I feel sorry for you :| I know what that is like, I couldn't play at all in my other company's office, but in this one, they even gave me a laptop to work/play :P I'm currently a database manager.

You crazy EU folks and your weird server names!

They should just add your servers to the Awesome US Server List , so that we can all play together.

Defiant is the best Euro server

And I think that's where the player called Blue Rabbit plays, and he's from Portugal too.

There's more people on Union but I think the community seems tighter on Defiant once you get to know people. Having said that Lady Arete is right Sals Badgehunters is the main channel on Union. Good Luck
