Quote:Hey, if his "whining" eventually succeeds in getting us additional free slots to allocate, he will have my sincerest gratitude and I will gladly give him a case of my personal Serial Beggar wine!I don't understand the complainers (I don't consider the OP one of them). I felt really embarrassed for that guy at the meet'n'greet whining directly to the devs in-person, "We get screwed!"

Just like when the RWZ and Cimerora came out, I'll be running through all my characters to open up their content. Whether I pursue getting the Incarnate drops, is not a priority.
-
I have only seen one Respec recipe drop. And, I fumbled my sale of it at the Market and sold it too cheap.
-
I am available to receive any and all charitable monetary donations (in-game or out-game).
Sincerely,
@serialbeggar -
Another good command is = /cleartray so you don't have to spend 10 mins right-clicking to delete your temp powers collection.
-
The Temp Powers recipes wouldn't be so bad if you could craft and stack multiples of them. For example, those Hand Grenades are nifty and I'd like to have 1000 charges of 'em available for spamming.

Really? So far, I have not once been dropped directly to the character selection screen when choosing the option. I've always been sent back to the log in screen with the "your account is already logged in". I had thought it was an underwhelming feature, ie saving me from having to re-enter my password.
And I've spent the past week cycling through all my characters to keep their Market slots filled with stuff to sell to the respeccers.

All my characters' names are easy to pronounce, except for this one: Schlaizy Noithn
I took it from a novel series. It was a name of a town. Frankly, I don't know the correct pronunciation of it is. In my mind, I designated quite a few silent letters and say it as: sh-lazy noit'n -
I do my free respecs in my Base. It needs to be useful too.
-
I spent the past 3 weeks or so doing "spring" cleaning at my 6 Bases. I'm a hoarder and most of my enhancement bins were reaching capacity. I have 8-10 enhancements bins in each Base. I had a dozen characters actively selling. As is typical, the attack, armor and heal type Set pieces sold quickly. I had priced at below (the then) going rate to attempt quicker sales, so I missed out on the current spike in prices. Plus I got rid of the level 50 items first which is a bummer. My sales have slowed a bit with the non-50s items. Hopefully, the respecers will snatch them up.

Oh, I understand about pulling a few enhancements out during a character's normal upgrade path (cheapos-->better stuff or frankenslotting-->Sets-->Purples/PvP) or to swap some powers around to experiment with builds. What I'm asking about is the recent "feeling of urgency" to strip significant quantities of high end enhancements out just for the Alpha Slot or because of Inherent Fitness. If it's because of the Alpha Slot, I'm missing the point. If it's because of Inherent Fitness, it blows my mind!

From the Patch Notes:
Quote:Incarnate System
- Incarnate Abilities follow a new power advancement system whereby you can construct higher powered versions of a power along an advancement tree instead of spending slots to enhance the power. Each Incarnate slot has a variety of ability trees which each have different flavors of power and effects as you progress deeper in the tree. Incarnate Abilities do not count against your power or enhancement specification choices and are build-independent, but do not work if exemplared below level 45 as the Well of the Furies intends the power be used by those at the pinnacle of their expertise.

I didn't participate in the Issue 19 Betas and I've only took a quick glance through Zombie Man's Incarnates guide. Still, I'm am stumped as to why there had been so much discussion and rants regarding insufficient respecs to pull out Purples/Hamis/etc in preparation for Issue 19?
Other than Inherent Fitness, which I assume if you had it previously, you would pretty much keep your current slotting. And if you didn't have it before, you may just put something new into the default slot. So why is there such a need to what sounds like a massive overhaul in the character's overall build?
If your current build was already min-maxed for Issue 18 content, what will messing with it do? Especially since the Alpha Slot doesn't exemplar below 45. What I've read about the Alpha Slot is that it'll give you a global boost. A boost which you will need for the Incarnate TFs.
So, someone enlighten me please. Why were you pulling out enhancements for Issue 19? -
Should I feel lucky that I'm still at work?

Quote:May I suggest that you replace the armored police guarding the Hazard Zone entrances with TSA agents wearing blue gloves?
* Posted at the entrance of any hazard zone will be one of those "You must be THIS high to ride this ride" signs. -
I don't suppose if you might have a copy of those characters left hanging out on the Test Server? Even a stripped (of enhancements and Inf) clone of them might be better than having to re-roll.

If you want to do it manually:
- right click the center of a chat window
- choose "Channel Search" from the pop up menu
- type in a search pattern based on your server's name (example: 'inf' for Infinity)
- after you get the result, click the column header to sort
- join 2-4 of the most populated channels
- monitor them for a week or two to see which agrees with you
Note: while these are public channels, most will default you to being in "silenced" mode when you first join. This practice was due to the RMT Spammers in the past. So:
- open your Friends window
- click the drop down menu and choose the global channel you just joined
- you'll noticed that you'll have a white square icon next to your global name, that means you're in "silenced" mode
- look for someone with a star icon next to their name, that's a channel moderator (another player). If you don't see one, you may need to wait until later in the day when people get out of school or work in whatever time zone they're in.
- right click the moderator's name and send him a tell to unsilence you when he/she gets a chance
Since you've just joined several global channels and maybe additional ones from different servers that you're on, you may want to organize them in the extra chat windows (the 1 2 3 4).
- click on one of the extra chat windows (ie: 1 2 3 4)
- click the "Add Tab" button. If there isn't one, then right click the center of the chat window and choose "Add Tab" from the menu.
- move over the channels you want for this Tab
Note: you can add several Tabs per chat window.
Note: you can split the chat window into upper and lower views. Right click ON the Chat Tab and choose "Move to Top/Bottom".
If you have multiple global channels in one Chat Tab, you can change the colors for each of the channels. It will do this by default, but the shades of pale green may not be distinctive enough for you. So:
- Left click the name of the global channel in your chat window
(most channels will have a MOTD (message of the day) greeting when you first log in)
- choose "Set Color"
Note: if you want to save your channels and colors to use for your other characters:
- go to Menu-->Options-->General-->(scroll to the bottom)-->Chat Setting File
- click the "Save to Default File" button
then
- log in another character and do the above to get into the Options
- click the "Load from Default File" button
Note: you can change which channel you want to send to by Left clicking the channel name at the chat input line and choosing the channel from the pop up menu. -

The Accurate-XXX type IOs are worth spending Merits on? While I haven't looked at them recently, I've been under the impression that they were fairly cheap at the Market for quite some time now. I haven't even bothered to hoard them since the last time I tried selling them and found how low in demand they were.
-
If you toss the Coolant at someone who's running past you (and continuing to go around), the Coolant looks like a photon torpedo tracking the runner.
-
If you're teleporting all over the battle field, aren't you going to be out of your FF gen's bubble most of the time? In addition, unless you've given it a Grant Invis, it'll probably wind up inadvertently doing some herding as it tries to catch up with you.
-
I've never used them, but what about those Power Analyzer Mark I, II, III temp powers? Will they show the list of the AV's powers?

Quote:In case you didn't typo it and weren't aware, you can do the ITF at 35.The problem is that I like to get my access set up all nice and early, so that when I DO hit 45+, I can go run the ITF with friends with no hassle.
Lady Grey's TF is the one that has 45 as the minimum.
